Then Peter Singer is wrong.

But he speaks only of sexual acts between humans and animals, not marriage.

Well in his mind they can consent to sex, why not marriage....???

Because an animal can get obviously horny but it can't sign it's name.

Of course they won't.

Dogs can't give consent.

I doubt very much that they would be legally binding institutions.

No, they aren't. Neither are gay marriages.

Depends is suppose. A man sodomising a sheep is definitely rape but a woman fellating a dog is probably going to make the dog very happy.

As repulsive as the concept is to me.

Well I'm not an expert on bestiality and I don't which of those Peter Singer is referring to, but in any case the animal has not given its consent whether it has a happy ending or not.

Therefore its really rape.

What about a man being arse torn by a stallion like that guy that died a decade or so ago? The stallion is obviously giving consent in hammering his sphincter.

That'd come under the category of Darwin Award material.

Do you think it's rape when we masturbate animals for science or artificial insemination?

Well imagine if a dog pinned you down and inserted his paw into your vagina.

What would you classify that as.....????
