britain just 'gave up' after WW2.
they gave up their empire, their culture, their esprit de corps, their history, their courageous achievements
just so they could be little bitches and suckle off the nanny state with free NHS and nationalised industry so they could do 'pretend work' and be medicore chodes.
there is a lesson in studying britain.
never lose momentum and never settle for the path of least resistance.
once you do, its all over
When the POMs lost Singapore in WW2 it was the end for them.

Main article: Japanese occupation of Singapore
During the Pacific War, the Japanese invasion of Malaya culminated in the Battle of Singapore. When the British force of 60,000 troops surrendered on 15 February 1942,
British Prime Minister Winston Churchill called the defeat "the worst disaster and largest capitulation in British history.[53] British and Empire losses during the fighting for Singapore were heavy, with a total of nearly 85,000 personnel captured.[54] About 5,000 were killed or wounded,[55] of which Australians made up the majority.[56][57][58] Japanese casualties during the fighting in Singapore amounted to 1,714 killed and 3,378 wounded.[54][c] The occupation was to become a major turning point in the histories of several nations, including those of Japan, Britain, and Singapore. Japanese newspapers triumphantly declared the victory as deciding the general situation of the war.[59][60] Between 5,000 and 25,000 ethnic Chinese people were killed in the subsequent Sook Ching massacre.[61] British forces had planned to liberate Singapore in 1945; however, the war ended before these operations could be carried out.[62][63
