Do yourself a favour if you buy one and use premium unleaded. RAV 4 is a bit - shall we say - poofy - for a bloke. Get a 'horn' car and buy the Subbie

I like the height. Bad back so getting in and out is easier. 95% in city but it's nice to have AWD for holidays so can go for a spin on the beach.

He is right though a really attractive car is now very much not. The rear of the current model looks awful.

IMO there is not much difference either should be OK, I would test one of each and see what you get and how much they cost.
