How to by-pass PayWalls

Simple.

Use http://www.news.com.au/

Should you particularly want something from:

The Advertiser
The Australian
Perth Now
Daily Telegraph
Courier Mail
Herald Sun

Then just copy the Headline into Google, search, and read it from there. There might be a limit on how many items you can copy but I don't want to read EVERYTHING.

I don't think Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, Brisbane Times, Canberra Times and WA Today, have a PayWall, do they?  NOBODY wants to read their stuff, obviously.

I am sure EVERYBODY knows this but some cry " it's behind a paywall" .........

There is a limit of ten reads.  I thought you had a way around that!

If you type in the exact headline you will just come up with the same sites that are blocking your viewing.  It's best to type in a few key words about the article you wish to read and you will find more options from free sites where you can view the story.

If you have an iPad, there is also the Yahoo7 Finance app, which is excellent. You can customise it to show the indices you're watching on your home page. It's completely free and has finance related stories.

There is also a 7 News app and other similar apps.

I have done that too.

IF you are following a certain "news item" there are several places to find it .... including the ones you mentioned, without hitting a "pay wall".

You can also get a pdf version of the Australian. Kind of hard to copy and paste from.

I subscribed to the Morning Bulletin for Rockhampton on facebook. The "Bulletin" posts stories to their facebook page. But, when you go to click on their link, you get sent to a subscription page. I don't mind reading the Morning Bulletin's stories. But, they are not good enough to be paying even a $1 subscription/week to read.

Took to doing the copy and paste to google.com.au to avoid the problem of paywalls.

Quite often Twitter and Facebook will let you see the original article but not always.

It is important to delete any current articles first.
