Good point.

It shows what 'cultural isolation' can do to a people.
Dotard is a long forgotten word, hardly used.
Kim obviously has an English Translation book that was printed in 1958

Kim's use of Dotard did not surprise me, but I knew it was a literal translation from Korean.

Maroon is an ugly colour, so maybe it deserves to be mispronounced. I believe "marone" came to Australia with the bog-Irish.

What I HATE THE MOST...is people starting half their sentences with ...SO

This irks the hell out of me, as well
As does starting a sentence with ... OK

It's the stuff of western suburbs, anywhere

Here's an overly ripe one. In poetic English a farewell sometimes adopts the French "Adieu."

Here in Queensland, it has become "A jew."

Anytime anyone replaces the 'th' sound with an 'f' or 'v' I want to punch them in the head.

Tim fisher was not only john howard's lap dog during his time as leader of the nationals but a major uneducated flog when it came to doing this, or 'vis as he used to say.   Angry Angry

Vis fing you are talking about is essentially baby-talk, as is much diminutive abbreviation like, Brekky and Chrissie Prezzie.

I fought you'd never fink o' 'at one.... 1RAR view Fischer quite highly for organising the evacuation of the wounded at Coral.  I hold no brief for him personally or any real view.
