And there is no consideration that the Libs inherited an economy in freefall? REcord debt, record deficit and rapidly growing unemployment. The lat has been fixed - now for the other two.
You didn't recognise that Labor were cutting back more and continually holding on as well as possible.
The Libs accelerated the slide by choosing to do nothing for a long time and then instead of making sensible savings went for the throat of the poor and disadvantaged.
The position that Labor got to in 6 years in the midst of the GFC took the Liberals little over 12 months to double.
The December numbers are almost certain to show another disastrous result in terms of the budget projection, you remember the fun you had when Swan got those wrong how incompetent he was, well guess who is doing a lot worse.
Two years into the Liberals term with a promised surplus in year one and we are not only still going backwards but doing it with a sharp acceleration.
Swan's average expenditure cuts went to 1.5% of GDP and in comparison the Liberals are sitting on 0.7% that is right the Libs have been reducing expenditure at half Labors rate when in office.
