Ten people, including employees of Russia's state oil company Rosneft, have lost their lives in a civilian helicopter crash in Siberia, regional officials say.

There were 25 people on board the Mi-8 helicopter, which went down outside the town of Igarka, some 2,800 kilometers (1,750 miles) northeast of Moscow on Thursday.

Fifteen other passengers were hospitalized as a result of the crash. According to a Rosneft statement, there were three crew members and 22 passengers on board.

The helicopter was reportedly carrying workers to an oil production site belonging to Rosneft.

Russia’s Emergencies Ministry said the helicopter had performed an emergency landing, but did not mention the possible cause of the crash.

A probe has been launched into the incident, with investigators trying to determine what caused the crash.

Turkish trucks face hurdles at Russia’s customs

Turkish passengers and trucks have started to face hurdles at Russia’s customs after the downing of the Russian jet by Turkish F-16s near the Syrian border on Nov. 24, with Turkish trucks now being subjected to “full examination,” according to Turkish officials.

“Russia has closed its border gates to Turkish trucks,” said the head of the International Transporters Association of Turkey (UND), Fatih Şener.

Noting that Turkey had made exports to Russia in many fields from ready-made textiles to food and machinery, Şener said: “Around 36,000 trucks carry goods from Turkey to Russia a year. Some 100-150 trucks are now being kept waiting at Russia’s borders. We face an uncertain situation here. No explanation has been made about the trucks which are on their way to Russia though Georgia, although the trucks are apparently being subjected to a “full examination” on their way to Russia via Ukraine. This means all goods in the trucks will be unloaded and examined in detail at the Russia border, but such procedures can take days.”

Such a process is also applied at the Turkish border, but only in the event of risky situations, which occurs around 2 percent of the time, officials said.

A board member of the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly (TİM) and the head of the Machinery Exporters’ Association, Adnan Dalgakıran, also told a meeting of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry on Nov. 25 that no Turkish goods were being permitted passage to Russia.

“The passing of Turkish trucks over Russia’s borders has halted now, including machinery. No Turkish good can enter Russia now,” he was quoted as saying by Reuters.

Dalgakrıan said Turkey’s machinery exports to Russia were around $800 million a year, but this amount had already decreased to around $300 million after economic problems began in Russia.

The head of the Istanbul Textiles and Raw Materials Exporters Association, İsmail Gülle, also said the textile industry was one sector that would be negatively affected by any deterioration in Turkish-Russian ties.

“Our annual exports to Russia are around $1 billion, but this has shrunk by 40 percent this year due to the economic problems in Russia. Any further shrinkage in our exports will create a big problem for us,” he said, according to Reuters.

Şener said Turkish trucks faced the same problems in Egypt last year due to deteriorating political ties between Turkey and Egypt.

“Such problems are normal in the Middle East, but Russia is a member of the World Trade Organization (WTO), so it shouldn’t behave like Egypt,” he said.

Some Turkish tourists visiting Russia have also said they faced problems at passport control, while some said everything was quite normal.

Russian Communist deputy proposing full ban on foodstuff imports from Turkey

"Why should we allow the companies from a country, which doesn’t support our policies and cooperates with terrorist groupings, make money here?" Vadim Solovyov asked somewhat rhetorically

MOSCOW, November 26. /TASS/. Russian politicians continued offering their reactions to the Tuesday incident in Syrian airspace where a Russian Sukhoi-24M bomber was brought down by an air-to-air missile launched from an F-16 fighter jet of the Turkish Air Force.

Communist deputy of the State Duma Vadim Solovyov came up with a proposal to expel Turkish construction companies from Russia, as well as to ban the imports of Turkish foodstuffs and textiles, Izvestia daily said.

"By its unexpected escapade, Turkey calls into question a possibility of political and, on top of that, economic trust in it," it quoted Solovyov.

"Much has been said about severing relations in the tour industry but this isn’t the only sphere where our countries have had close cooperation," he said. "Turkish companies are engaged in many landmark construction projects in Russia, like the Federation Tower in the Moskva City business center."

"Why should we allow the companies from a country, which doesn’t support our policies and cooperates with terrorist groupings, make money here?" he asked somewhat rhetorically.

Konstantin Kosachev, the chairman of foreign policy committee in the upper house of Russian parliament, believes that Turkey is bearing collective responsibility for the terrorists’ actions as it maintains connections with the Islamic State.

"It’s clear the Islamic State and the groupings of the same mold have been gathering strength and enjoying persistent large-scale support on the part of a number of nations and, very unfortunately, we can state Turkey happens to be one of them," Kosachev said on Wednesday. "In this light, Turkey is bearing collective responsibility for all the actions of terrorist and the global terrorist community as a whole."

As he spoke about the shooting down of a Russian Sukhoi-24 fighter jet in the skies over Syria by the Turkish Air Force, he said: "There is every ground to believe the Turkish authorities knew perfectly well what they were doing and in reality they were defending their political and, in many ways, economic interests."

"Unfortunately, there is much evidence showing active collaboration between Turkish businesses and the Islamic States outlets," Kosachev said. "They make a ploy of chaos in the area and make revenues on contraband oil and oil products, on looted works of art, on everything that poorly guarded but sells well."

"In fact, Turkey is turning into a beneficiary of illicit business brewing on the Syrians’ blood," Kosachev said. "These are not just small business owners fishing in muddled waters because Turkish elites are enmeshed in the process, too.".

Russia FM points to gross violation of Syria flight safety memorandum

The United States assumed responsibility for observance of relevant regulations by all participants of the coalition it leads, including Turkey

MOSCOW, November 25. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, in Wednesday’s phone conversation with US Secretary of State John Kerry, pointed to a gross violation of the Russian-US memorandum of ensuring safety of flights of combat aircraft in Syria, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported Wednesday.

"The situation around an unprovoked attack by Turkey’s Air Force on a Russian bomber, which was fulfilling the task to fight terrorists on Syrian territory, was discussed," the ministry said.

"The minister pointed to a gross violation of the Russian-American memorandum on ensuring safety of combat aircraft flights in Syria, in which the United States assumed responsibility for observance of relevant regulations by all participants of the coalition it leads, including Turkey," it said.

An F-16 fighter of the Turkish Air Force downed on Tuesday Russia’s Su-24M bomber (NATO reporting name Fencer) over the territory of Syria.

The Su-24M crew managed to eject, but one of the two pilots was killed by fire from the ground, the search for the second continued. The second pilot has been rescued.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov earlier on Wednesday noted that Moscow knows the US always demands from its coalition members in Syria to coordinate use of US combat planes. Thus, he pointed to the possibility of the Turkish authorities agreeing with the United States their decision to order its warplanes in the air to shoot down the Russian plane.

"Some members of the coalition, including those providing their combat planes for strikes against Iraq and Syria have confided to us the planes involved were of US manufacture and the Americans normally request US permission for such operations," Lavrov said. "As far as I understand, our plane was downed by a US-made F-16. It remains to be seen whether the US requirement is applicable to Turkey, and if it is, I would like to know if Turkey had asked the United States for permission to send its planes on a combat mission and to shoot down a plane, albeit probably an identified one, over Syrian territory."

It really doesn't need all those words, if Putin was responsible because a Russian designed weapon downed MH17, Obama is responsible for the down Russian bomber. American plane, American missile, American trained pilots. Obama is guilty!

Shirtfront him!

Where's Tony?!

UK to Step Up Cooperation With Russia, Iran in Anti-ISIL Fight – Cameron

Britain will step up its diplomatic efforts on Syria crisis settlement and cooperation with Russia and Iran to combat Islamic State militants more effectively, UK Prime Minister David Cameron said Thursday.

LONDON (Sputnik) – The statement comes as the British parliament is scheduled to vote on starting an aerial campaign against the ISIL jihadists in Syria in December. If the parliament supports Cameron’s proposal to launch airstrikes on the militants’ positions in Syria, the bombing may start within hours after the decision is made, according to media reports.

"We will intensify our diplomatic engagement, to build trust between the parties and to deliver an inclusive settlement for the people of Syria. That includes working with Russia and Iran, in order to build the consensus that will allow for a more effective and coordinated international campaign against ISIL [IS]," Cameron said in a statement to the Foreign Affairs Select Committee.

The ISIL, a radical Sunni group, has ceased vast areas in Iraq and Syria, forcing thousands of people to flee their homes.

Russia and the United Kingdom are among countries currently engaged in countering ISIL militants. Britain has been launching anti-ISIL airstrikes as part of a US-led coalition since 2014 in Iraq. Russia has begun conducting its own aerial campaign against the militants in Syria in September, following a request from Syrian President Bashar Assad.

lol. Peace via Russia and China? lol. Both nations have probably killed more people in the last 100 years than every other nation put together.

Give us evidence that they killed around the world more people than America and the west.
Oh yes I forgot they killed millions in India, American Indians, Iraqis, Afghanistanes, Jews, Australian Aborigines, New Zealend Maoris, millions of African slaves, all of that was done by Russia and China.
Of course in accordance with brainwashed zombies , Fox and CNN.
