People in the world face two options: Totally to be enslaved under dominion of US Wall Street banksters or to live in peace protected by Russia and China.
If Russia fails in its mission of liberating people from the western arrogance than that is the and of civilized world. Therefore pray for Putin and Russia.

lol. Peace via Russia and China? lol. Both nations have probably killed more people in the last 100 years than every other nation put together.

I stand with Russia because they want peace, unlike the fake US war machine that turns a blind eye to the ISIS sponsors.

It must of been a hard decision choosing between an authoritarian nationalist and a religious nationalist. Funnily enough, neither would have time for a limp-wristed lefty like yourself.

You are kinda right there, I'm not a Putin fan and I'm not an ISIS fan either. Turkey is an ISIS fan and Putin is the lesser of two evils, Turkey shot down the Su-24, trying to defend ISIS and the oil it receives from them and to defend their comrade Turks trying to overthrow Assad, who is also prick.

To me it boils down to:
I want ISIS(or lookalikes) gone.
Ivan is doing a better job than any western coalition.
Go Ivan!

No country shoots down another's planes for a 10-17 second trespass... Except Turkey. How often do Turkish planes transgress on other sovereign states borders and are not shot down? Dangerous game that could turn into a Turkey shoot because the west can't possibly defend that shoot down.

Do you still believe Assad deployed chemical weapons?

That didn't add up to anything more than a fabricated pretext for the west to get (more) involved.

Yet Turkey is (officially) on the side of the U.S., French and the rest of the countries bombing ISIS. It has even granted the U.S permission to use its bases for the bombings. Funny way to protect ISIS.

From what I've been told, U.S., French and Greek planes regularly fly in Turkish airspace, but have never been shot down. There's some animosity between Russia and Turkey for this action to be taken. The simplest explanation is that Russia targeted Turkmen, an ethnic group related to Turks, and the downing of the plane was revenge.

One thing to understand about Turks is that they are very nationalist, very proud. They aren't emasculated losers like the citizens of the West.

Lesser of two evils. Did he? Probably he's a prick. Who would you rather? ISIS? I know it's obscene, life is like that sometimes, but who is worse? Assad can be done in with international pressure, without airstrikes, yes it may take time and persistence but the alternative is ISIS, who will not be deterred but impelled by international condemnation. Kill ISIS, isolate Turkey until it turns from the ISIS memorandum and forgoes a new Ottoman Empire.

Not only did Assad use chemical weapons he killed at least
100,000 of his own people who rose up against him -
because he's a tyrant & a despot.

There really is no hope for the Arab/ Muslim world.
They will have the crap bombed out of them & return to the stone age.

Anyone who kills 100,000 moslems can't be all bad.

Seriously though, how long do you think a nice guy would last in charge of a middle eastern country?  They can't afford to be nice.

Depends on your definition of a "nice guy". Assad is a "nice guy" compared to ISIS, so was Saddam. I think "nice" is a relative and subjective  concept.

You have a point - Saddam was even worse than Assad but
at least he had the Muslim terrorists under control.

Assad did not have the Muslims under control -
he was always worthless to everyone.

As did the British Navy in the days of keelhauling, flogging and their recruitment methods were appalling. Worthless proles needed a firm hand. I don't agree that violence doesn't solve problems, it does, it also creates problems and they may be harder to deal with than the original one unless people are taken by the hand afterwards. As examples I would put forth the Marshall Plan and how Japan was treated after WW2.

It's a fine balance - too nice and they get deposed, too cruel and they get overthrown.  That makes meddling in a relatively stable situation, ie Iraq, Libya, Syria all the more stupid.  Like Water it will find its own level.
