On one forum he was banned 50+ times, and came back time after time, only to be banned again, until he finally gave up.

Wow. On ozpol? That's impressive.

Bach, are you talking from experience or are you taking offence vicariously? If it's the latter,  why would you care?

I got banned/locked out of feedback for no apparent reason. This led me to give more credence to people's socks coming back and bitching about how their other account got banned. I was just curious if it was a common occurrence here.

Who were you before?

What did you say you were studying at uni?

People are rarely banned permanently.
They are however suspended from here for varying lengths of time.
It's also a posting offence to use socks whilst banned.

Use of socks any other time isn't an offence and whilst I don't myself, I don't really have any issue if people do.

Ah, just what I thought. Longy wasn’t really banned at all.

Either that, or you think Maria’s a retired negotiator from Sydney with a Merc-driving hubby.

Anything’s possible.

You forgot that Maria's rich and right wing and such, but will be applying for Aged Pension and getting it..... and uses such comments as:- 'Where will you be when I get my pension, old man?"

Sounds pretty gay kid to me..... (oooh - you beast.. you BEAST!)

I loved my response - that I would be sitting around and sucking as much out of the health care system for free as possible while pulling more than pension.

Poor old mania can't take a trick.....

Yes - but you wouldn't understand that, having no real life experience to give you the guidelines. Always miles behind, you kids with the mouth.

Come back when you've got something solid to support your negative comments.

Can you actually prove anything I say is false?  Thought not.... no negative comment without support is worth answering any more... you know nothing.

Is banning actually a necessity?

Hard to say really. What about, do people actually have limited self control?

I preferred him to be, when he wanted to debate seriously he made the occasional strong case. I remember back in 2002 for instance the time when ..... no sorry that wasn't him.....
