Israel's very own tunnels of dread in Jerusalem

While everyone is preoccupied with the Hamas tunnels in Gaza, Israel continues to dig under Palestinian houses in Jerusalem. The excuses are questionable, residents are angry and fearful, and a religious conflagration appears imminent.

old story but ok when the zionists dig tunnels, could they be destroying all proofs that the Palestinians own the land?

Israel rejects international monitors in East al-Quds

Sun Oct 18, 2015 5:13PM

Israel has rejected a proposal by France to send international observers to monitor the situation near the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in East al-Quds (Jerusalem).

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday for the second time slammed France's draft resolution to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to deploy monitors to the area, which has been witnessing deadly clashes for weeks.

"Israel cannot accept the French draft resolution at the UNSC," Netanyahu said.

Paris submitted its proposal on the matter in a draft resolution to the UNSC on October 16, during an emergency meeting over the escalation of violence in occupied Palestinian territories.

Netanyahu first slammed the draft resolution on October 17, as “absurd,” saying it was seeking the “internationalization of the holy places in the Middle East.”

Israel’s ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, also criticized the idea, saying Tel Aviv believed the deployment of international observers to the site would not help the situation.

This comes as several Palestinian students were injured by Israeli soldiers on Sunday during a protest against Tel Aviv’s aggression on the Polytechnic University south of al-Khalil (Hebron).

There has also been a surge in violence in recent days, which has seen dozens of Palestinians accused of attempting to stab Israelis killed.

The al-Aqsa Mosque compound or Temple Mount, as known by Israelis, has been witnessing a rise in tensions in recent weeks since Israel imposed harsh restrictions on the entry of Palestinians to the compound.

Palestinians are angry at increasing violence by illegal Israeli settlers, who frequently storm al-Aqsa Mosque, the third holiest site in Islam after Masjid al-Haram in Mecca and Masjid al-Nabawi in Medina. They say the Tel Aviv regime seeks to change the status quo of the compound.

Hamas Embraces the Path of the Islamic State (ISIS)

The Islamic State and the Palestinians

The Islamic State also exercises considerable influence in the Palestinian Authority of the West Bank and in Gaza, which is effectively under Hamas rule. When, on September 21, 2014, the caliphate’s spokesman Sheikh Abu Muhammad al-Adnani called on Muslims worldwide to engage in jihad against the infidels and kill them indiscriminately in any manner, including ramming them with cars and stabbing them with knives, the words resonated in the Palestinian camp. Over the past two months there have been many stabbing and vehicular attacks in sovereign Israel and in the West Bank; the most severe was the massacre in a Jerusalem synagogue on November 18, 2014, in which four rabbis and a policeman were murdered with pistols, meat cleavers, and knives.

While the Palestinian Authority is trying to direct the wave of violence into a “popular resistance” resembling the first intifada, when the characteristics of the struggle were demonstrations, throwing stones, Molotov cocktails, and the use of “cold” weapons (knives) and not firearms, Hamas is attempting to incite all the territories including the Arab communities inside the Green Line to use all means, including firearms, in the fight against Israel. - See more at: http://jcpa.org/hamas-ride-wave-of-violence/#sthash.kCGMQIGZ.dpuf

UN Report Reveals How Israel is Coordinating with ISIS Militants Inside Syria
February 19, 2015 By 21wire

The Syrian conflict continues to develop into a proxy war, pitting various foreign ‘national interests’ against one another, including US vs. Syria, US vs Iran, Saudi Arabia vs Syria, Qatar vs. Syria, Turkey vs. Kurdistan and Iran vs. Israel – to name only a few. Upon closer examination, the real truth begins to emerge: that the support network behind Washington’s ‘Moderate Rebels’ and terrorist groups fighting to depose the Assad government in Syria – is an inter-agency network , comprised of many contributing covert intelligence agencies, including  the CIA, MI5/6, Mossad, France, NATO, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

21WIRE reported back in December 2014 and again in January 2015, how the State of Israel has consistently provided both material, medical relief and IDF airstrike support to various terrorist and ‘rebel’ insurgents fighting in Syria.

ast month Israel launched its sixth airstrike inside Syria in the last 18 months, which is described as a ‘targeted killing’ against Hezbollah, whom Tel Aviv maintains is backed by their sworn enemy Iran – which leader Benjamin Netanyahu claims, affords Israel the right to kill them at any time, or any place. Back in 2013, the Assad government in Damascus invited Lebanese Hezbollah militia into Syria to help eliminate terrorists in Syria, and now the uncomfortable reality is finally surfacing – that Israel has been picking off Syrian military and Hezbollah targets who are trying to fight-off ISIS, al Qaeda and al Nusra terrorists – which means that Israel is actually helping ISIS.

the UN report identified what the Syrians label a crossing point of forces between Israel and ISIS, a point of concern brought before the UN Security Council. – See more at: http://yournewswire.com/un-proven-ties-between-isis-and-israel/#sthash.dvkMqM01.dpuf
The UN report identified what the Syrians label a crossing point of forces between Israel and ISIS, a point of concern brought before the UN Security Council.”

According to the United Nations Documents on UNDOF (official UN source) Israeli interactions with the Syrian rebels have been documented. If the international community were to pull-up Israel on this fact, they would do what Washington, Saudi Arabia and others have done – which is claim they are only dealing with the fictional “moderate rebels” – most of whom have been shown time and time again – to be defecting over to ISIS.

This story has been completely blacked out in the US and UK English-speaking corporate media, even though the Israeli press has actually reported this numerous times (see multiple links below).

In addition, today Israeli Newspaper Haaretz also reported how the ISIS hysteria has helped war hawk Netanyahu’s prospects for remaining in power, stating, “The Israeli prime minister is about to win another term thanks to the rise of Islamic terror — and the paralysis of the center-left.”

Israel may very well believe that it is acting in the interest of its national security by adopting the axiom, “the enemy of my enemy is my friend”. However, judging by these and other findings, it’s fairly clear that Israel has blood on its hands in the Syrian conflict, but is trying very hard to conceal their involvement in order to avoid any public outrage over their direct role in the violence in Syria, and by extension, in Iraq as well.

Either way, it’s an ugly edition to an already horrific picture in the Middle East.

Why is Israel concocting ties between Hamas and ISIS?

Published July 5, 2015

By dreaming up an association between Hamas and Islamic State, Netanyahu hopes Israel will have it easy the next time it goes to war against Gaza.

The head of Israel’s military government in the territories, Maj.-Gen. Yoav “Polly” Mordechai, spearheaded the latest round of Israel’s fantastical, anti-intellectual conflation between Hamas and ISIS this past week. Taking advantage of the horrendous attacks by an ISIS affiliate in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, Mordechai told Al Jazeera Arabic that Hamas is aiding the world’s most terrifying terrorist organization—by bringing its wounded fighters into Gaza for medical treatment.

The attempt to make a connection between the two groups is nothing new. In fact, facts be damned, Israel—and the Netanyahu government in particular—has a rich history of conflating Hamas with whichever evildoers it deems most expedient at the time. Making the ISIS, connection, as Larry Derfner reported in great depth last year, has been Netanyahu’s primary strategy for de-legitimizing Hamas since last summer’s war in Gaza.

Maj.-Gen. Mordechai’s accusations are expedient for many reasons. Firstly, Hamas’s relationship with the Egyptian government has gone from bad to worse since the overthrow of former president Muhammad Morsi. In recent weeks, however, a détente of sorts has begun to take shape, most recently evidenced when Cairo reversed an earlier decision that had declared Hamas a terrorist organization. It is no secret that the current Israeli government believes it is in its interest to ensure that Egypt remains adversarial toward Hamas, and what better way to advance that goal than to tie the latter to ISIS.

Secondly, Netanyahu hopes that the more he can concoct an association between Hamas and ISIS, against which there is an international consensus that any force is justified, then Israel will have an easier time the next time it goes to war against Gaza. Never mind the absurdity of actually comparing the ideology, goals, tactics and identity of the two groups. The only thing more absurd would be to compare ISIS to Iran. In addition to the fact that ISIS is a fanatical Sunni group and the Iranian regime is Shia, Ishaan Tharoor wrote in The Washington Post earlier this year, “Iran’s theocratic rulers are hardly champions of religious pluralism and tolerance, but they are not crazed fundamentalist jihadists, bent on smashing idols and butchering religious minorities.”

But Mordechai’s “proof” that Hamas is supporting ISIS follows in a long line of hasty Israeli-constructed connections between terrorist groups in Sinai and Hamas and other groups in Gaza. In 2011, after a well-planned cross border attack from Sinai left eight Israelis dead, IDF Spokesperson Lt.-Col. Avital Liebowitz offered almost-comical evidence that the Sinai terrorists came from Gaza. Liebowitz’s claims rested primarily on the fact that the terrorists were found to be “using, for example, Kalashnikov bullets and Kalashnikov rifles, [which] are very common in Gaza.” The AK-47, of course, is the most popular assault rifle in the world. A year later we learned that there was never any real connection between those responsible for the attack and the Gaza-based Popular Resistance Committees, against which Israel launched an air campaign justified by false information. That mistake nearly led to a war.

There is an even more absurd element to the “evidence” Mordechai used to show a connection between Hamas and ISIS. If bringing wounded fighters into one’s territory for medical treatment constitutes a de facto alliance, then that might put Israel and the IDF into a corner it has a hard time explaining its way out of. Israel, you see, is doing the exact same thing with Jabhat al-Nusra, the Al-Qaeda-affiliated fighters along on the Syrian-controlled side of the Golan Heights. Morally outrageous and shortsighted might be accurate words for describing Israel’s decision to provide Syrian rebel fighters with medical treatment. But, based on that support, to suggest that the Israeli government and the Nusra Front are one and the same would be just as ridiculous as the concocted association between Hamas and ISIS.

Below is part of the Hamas charter.

Quote:
There is no solution to the Palestinian problem except by Jihad.

The initiatives, proposals and International Conferences are but a waste

of time(27), an exercise in futility. The Palestinian people are too noble

to have their future, their right and their destiny submitted to a vain

game. As the Hadith has it:

Rampaging State-Sponsored Israeli Settlers. Daily Acts of Violence against Palestinians
By Stephen Lendman
Global Research, October 19, 2015

Israeli settlements are permitted to freely terrorize defenseless Palestinians including young children, committing daily acts of violence and vandalism, at times cold-blooded murder with impunity.

Israeli authorities do nothing to stop them, de facto encouragement to rampage freely, often protected by soldiers and police – notably when they disruptively enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound where they don’t belong, commit vigilante attacks against young children, farmers in their fields, holy places or homes by settling them ablaze.

Yesh Din Volunteers for Human Rights receive daily complaints from abused Palestinians, notably during recent weeks of Israeli instigated violence, settlers attacking them at home, in vehicles, in village areas, in fields, virtually anywhere in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

Attacks happen so often, it’s hard keeping track of how many or making accurate damage assessments. Israeli soldiers and police, as well as PA security forces do nothing to protect defenseless victims.

Maan News said over 200 radicalized settlers attacked Wad al-Haseen and Wad al-Nasara villages overnight Saturday – throwing stones and “firebombs” at Palestinian homes.

At least three injuries were reported, including two children, one wounded seriously when a firebomb struck him in the chest.

Residents saw Israeli soldiers protecting their rampage, letting them attack Palestinians freely. Homes were set ablaze. Villagers fled to mosques for safety, warned others about what was happening.

When other Palestinians arrived to help, soldiers attacked them with live fire, rubber-coated steel bullets and toxic tear gas.

Radicalized settlers rampage freely. Soldiers attack Palestinian victims. Israeli forces killed at least 44 Palestinians since October 1, including 11 children.

Scores of arrests are made daily, many hundreds detained and brutalized, over 500 wounded by live fire, around 5,000 harmed by toxic tear gas inhalation.

On Saturday morning, a radicalized settler dressed in white, holding two guns, murdered 18-year-old Fadel al-Qawasmi. Video footage showed the incident’s aftermath.

The settler directed soldiers to the body of the youth he murdered, unarmed, threatening no one. Soldiers failed to disarm a killer or arrest him, free to kill again, allowed to do it unaccountably.

Paramedics were denied access to the dying youth, left to bleed to death unattended, his body then whisked away to an unknown location, his family denied access to it.

Soldiers lethally shot another Palestinian youth and a young woman threatening no one. Since October 1, most victims were young children or youths.

Only two Israelis died over the same period, both lethally shot, none by so-called knife-wielding Palestinians. The Big Lie about them terrorizing Israelis continues unabated.

Most people believe it because hard truths are suppressed. One-sided support for Israeli state terror ignores longstanding Palestinian suffering and the horrors they’re experiencing now.

BDS activists called for worldwide solidarity with courageous Palestinian resisters. “Boycott Israel now,” they urged!

“A new generation of Palestinians is marching on the footsteps of previous generations, rising up against Israel’s brutal, decades-old system of occupation, settler colonialism and apartheid,” they explained.

Tens of thousands of Palestinians have joined demonstrations taking place in dozens of cities across historic Palestine and in refugee camps in neighbouring Arab countries.

A “wave of action” is underway in solidarity with their struggle – in “in response to Israel’s intensifying ethnic cleansing and (brutal) oppression…”

Since July alone, Israeli security forces and settler attacks left over 1,000 Palestinian children and youths either disabled or faced with life-altering injuries – victims of brutal state terror, supported by Washington, other Western regimes and despotic regional ones.

Global solidarity is needed to fight back. Boycotts, divestments and sanctions are essential.

my position is that the nuclear armed israelis  have always shown an incredible ammount of restraint when dealing with the pampered palestinians.
the palestinians were defeated on the field of battle in 1968 by the courageous and heavily out numbered israelis.
the palestinians seem to all suffer from obesity so there is no shortage of food in palestine.
i would move the palestinians to camps in rwanda and put some grateful africans into palestine.
then the palestinians would be too busy walking 12 miles to a waterhole everyday to cause trouble.

nope not a jew hater, learn the difference between a jew and a zionist but you don't have to be a jew to be a zionist.......... before you accuse others of being jew haters.  I could say you are a pro zionist in this case.  Typical anyone who says anything for the Palestinian must be a jew hater to small minded people.

What is wrong with me posting from those sites, should I be a zombie like some and believe everything that comes from zionists sites?  Both views are there for all to make their own minds on what is really going on, I don't think I am breaking any rules but I guess it does upset you and some if others have different views and trying to understand what is really going on rather than believe what the zionists sites say, have a good day. Thank god for the Jews. Leave them in peace in Israel, they are doing far more good for the whole of humanity, even under constant siege,  than the entire Arab world put together.
