Actually, the most dangerous time is when women are TRYING TO LEAVE.

You have the wrong information. I suggest you reacquaint yourself with the particulars.

I'll be sure to tell my senior lecturer in criminology who's spent many years researching DV that she's wrong but you....an online nobody...is right.

You tell your imaginary friend anything you like.

You are still wrong.

The most dangerous period is up to 2 weeks after leaving. Women are 70 times more likely to be killed in the two weeks after leaving than at any other point in their relationship.

But you go on now and hand out bogus information based on absolute fantasy.

That is the inherent danger with someone like Jones.  People might actually believe what she says and act on what she posts, which is almost 100% garbage.

No they don't. Do they?

She's an absolute joke. Isn't that obvious?

I could not care less what you have just googled.

And that brings me to people just like you who barge into topics with nothing more than Prof Google...to post utter garbage.

I don't like it.

No googling here. I work in the industry.

You, on the other hand, just make it all up as you go along.

Don't threaten me. Ok?

And take your trolling elsewhere please.

You've already closed down ONE domestic violence topic in The Tavern with your flaming and trolling. And that got you banned from there.

And your flaming and trolling has cost you a permanent ban over at FD's PA forum.

And don't attempt to intimidate or harass me by posting sanitized versions of my PMs to you on this board or over at FD's other board.

Ok?

Oh and I don't like you following me around in cyberspace either.

Without accurate personal criticism of you (contrary to the Rules here) there is only one way to respond to that, and it involves..........

You follow him more than he follows you.

In fact about every second post of yours is about Aussie.

You really need to work on your internet obsessions.

Christ Almighty, how many  freaking industries have you worked in now?

25? 26?

Every time a decent topic opens up....you rush in with the same ridiculous and see-through claim.

New material please. Thanks.

So back to what we were saying.

The most dangerous time for a woman and children is after the break-up.

This ties in with the whole power thing. When a man feels as though he has no power left, he may lash out to try to reclaim power .... fatally.

That is not to diminish the threat that occurs during the break-up but if the woman has safe passage to a sanctuary, and she can gather up the courage and negotiate the mine field of complications, then her chances are much better.

The most dangerous time is when a woman is TRYING to leave an abusive relationship.

If anyone doubts this fact, too bad.

It is however the case.

And as I've stated elsewhere, our case studies at Uni keep highlighting this recurring issue.
