Forgot to mention this earlier...

Yesterday, I went by a jewellery shop and asked the head jeweller there about cleaning jewellery.

It turns out, you ONLY clean jewellery using a special cloth (kinda similar to the cleaning cloth you get with new specs).

This special cloth is a decent sized cloth and comes in a pack of 1 for around $10. It is specifically coated with chemicals to gently clean ALL jewellery.

After an in-shop demonstration, I bought a pkt....came home and cleaned all my jewellery pieces.

It's just like cleaning your spec lenses with the cloth you're given at the time of purchase. A good quick rub for an awesome finish.

And that's the answer!

Well apparently it depends on how much you use it.

3 to 6 months I've been told by the jeweller.
