"In Asheboro, North Carolina, a 26-year-old mother was cleaning her home when she heard a gunshot. Rushing into the living room, she discovered that her three-year-old son had accidentally shot her boyfriend’s three-year-old daughter with a .22-caliber rifle the parents had left in the room, loaded and unlocked."

Legal gun owners.

This could happen in Australia, or anywhere where guns are in the hands of the general population.

Some people care about innocent children (and adults) - some don't.

My god you are so gay, it makes me weep.

What a load of horse sh1t, there is no factual foundation for anything you have said about Australia, you have used nothing more than  emotion and hysteria and expected everyone else to wonder at the size of your Mangina.  Grin Grin Grin

Run away little girl you are too pathetic for the real world

Fkkk you must really hate cars and swimming pools, or aren't those kids innocent enough for you.

Cars are not designed to be a weapon.

Swimming pools are not designed to be a weapon.

Any other examples you'd like me to shoot down (pardon the pun)?

First it was about the children now it is anyone, well 3 people to be exact, wasn't any of the three the right age.

You must really lose your sh1t when you read about road accidents and workplace accident stats, or is that a more acceptable way to kill innocent people.

Like I said and will continue to say, you are pathetic.

So those deaths are ok are they?

And how do know that in the hundreds and thousands of 'innocent' deaths not in one occasion that a car or the pool was used as a weapon?

Your gay arguments are no match for my or anyone else's logic

In the right hands everything is a weapon

One accidental death is one too many (there's a lot more than three in that list I provided).

I care about the innocent people dying as a result of gun accidents - you don't.

Cars are not designed to be weapons.

Workplace accidents are not caused by tools, for example, which are designed to be weapons.

I care about innocent people accidentally killed by guns - you don't.

Reducing the number of guns (i.e. things designed primarily as a weapon) in society, reduces the risk.

I'm all about minimising risk - you're about playing with your toys.

Now you're adding/engineering your statements to suit your illogical opinions.

First "anybody killed by guns"

Then it was "children killed by guns"

Now it's "accidentally killed by guns"

Keep going, you may get it right. I won't hold my breath though.

"About two-thirds of these unintended deaths — 65 percent — took place in a home or vehicle that belonged to the victim’s family, most often with guns that were legally owned but not secured." Link

And the same thing could happen in Australia.

Less guns will reduce the risk.

"Two-thirds of incidents involved legally owned guns, whereas 16 percent of incidents involved unlawfully owned guns. (In another 17 percent of cases, the legality of gun ownership could not be confirmed.)"

It's against the law to leave a loaded gun where kids can access it in the USA, the woman who was shot by her son in Florida was charged.

If a kid got his hands on a loaded gun in Australia then safe storage regulations are not being followed and the registered owner will be charged, of course criminals don't follow safe storage regs with their illegal guns in Australia, how many criminals own gun safes?

Far more kids die by drowning or transport accidents in the USA yet hoplophobes like little pecca don't care about them.

Of course the hoplophobes with their irrational fears always bring up the USA when the topic is Australia.

Police minister Troy Grant said greater than 97% of all gun crimes in NSW are done with unregistered guns held by unlicensed people, he also took a swipe at the fearmongering by Green senator David Shoebridge.
