Innocent people, accidentally killed by guns.

I care about these people - you don't.

The numbers show the firearm safety course which became mandatory in 1996 does nothing to stop accidents.

We had less accidental shootings before our 1996 gun laws.

So, let's dramatically reduce the number of guns.

Less guns = less risk of accidental deaths by guns.

I care about all innocent people dying.

However, vehicles are not designed as weapons.

And, swimming pools are not designed as weapons.

Moreover, I've seen no threads in here about children dying in transport accidents, or drowning accidents.

If you'd like to start one, though, I'm more than willing to post a reply or two.

Gun numbers have increased to their highest ever levels in Australia which has resulted in less accidental deaths by guns.

It shows your statement is bullshit.

Then why do you stick up for Islam which has the death penalty for apostasy, blasphemy, homosexuals and witchcraft.

Cars are not designed to be weapons.

Workplace accidents are not caused by tools, for example, which are designed to be weapons.

I care about innocent people accidentally killed by guns - you don't.

Reducing the number of guns (i.e. things designed primarily as a weapon) in society, reduces the risk.

I'm all about minimising risk - you're about playing with your toys.

You are about trying to assuage your fear of the boogeyman, a hysterical paralysing fear, nothing more.

Dead is dead, there is not good dead and bad dead, so stop crapping on like a little girl, trying to get her dolly back.

You are once again clueless, much like you trying correct me about being in uniform on ANZAC day, jeez you made yourself look like a total fkkwit that day.  Grin Grin Grin

Correct, and nobody here has said anything to the contrary.

However, reducing the number of guns in the community lessens the risk of being accidentally killed as a result of a gunshot wound.

My statement is 100% correct.

Less guns = less risk of accidental deaths by guns.

If there are zero guns in Australia, there is zero chance of accidentally being killed by a gun in Australia.

Hysterical rantings.

Do you know how many children drown each year?
Yet pools are not banned, nor is water.

Do you know how many children die of poisoning?
Yet poisons are still available and not banned.

Do you know how many children are electrocuted?
Yet electricity is not banned and is still available.

Do you know how many children are killed by motor vehicles?
Yet cars are not banned and are freely available.

Guns are not the problem, the use or abuse is the problem.
Teach people to use them properly, to respect them and to keep them out of the hands of criminals or mentally ill.

PS
I do not like guns, never had one, never will.
But I don't drink or smoke either.

But I respect peoples right to choice, anything less is no longer a democracy its a dictarorship.

No greater than you.  Why do you ignore all the victims of guns in Australia?   Only yours and the interpretation peddled by the extremists promotes the death penality for all those issues.  Funny bed fellows you keep there!   Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy

I don't support the death penalty, under any circumstances.
