you have the job... not coming through the ceiling though...will we see about a sleigh maybe a mobility scooter borrowed from Red he rides one all the time...

cods my love you disappoint me after our time together, gladys is certainly starting to impress especially in the back room of cwa. nod nod etc

we are also brewing more mean geo.. less potent this time round as the girls get very naughty when they have had one or two..

I seem to recall it was you cods, I had to struggle to keep the speedos on

especially Glad...I do hope your date with Glad went well.. she has been strangely quiet, and we usually get all the details I am afraid...

Glad is certainly named correctly if you know what I mean, some are glad to get out of the place,

but not I she was a big spunk I thought.

So we have a Santa Claus- good job- we might have to measure you up Mr Monk your girth ( stomach of course) and hopefully we can get our hands on a serviceable Santa Claus garb-red  cotton and some red felt for the hat-and boots- is last years Santa get up still ok- but if I cast my mind back it had seen better days- the knees all worn through ( Santa aka old Ron, like to play hide and show in the sand cave with a few of the girls, who had hit the punch bowl with gusto- Maud never did find out!)

After the time we had Glad won’t come back to earth for several weeks.

The CWA going to supply the santa suit? A proper one not that red plastic curtain like last year?

Your faint and horrible smell filled my nostrils. Please, for the children's sake, do not play Santa.

its all taken care of agnes I am using my onesie pattern it will be in red velvet.. its looks smashing...if it had a tail the devil himself would wear it..the beard is next.. maybe  have to get the poodle clipped...it will be all fun and high jinks...

red is giving away a few naughty secrets I see...he really hates sharing his scooter....I am sure we can persuade you red???... agnes with her blossom cake and me with the mead...we could set your stamp collection on fire...

glad you must lighten up... we are not getting any younger and I have already bought my secret santa gift.. so we do have to have a santa...and a jolly one at that... last year was a dreadful turn out...and he was skinny to boot.. so nothing went well at all...I do hope he has the plaster off by now...

just a reminder about the dip and glide night...we have a DJ lined up...and some fairy lights...so please everyone wear your best long gowns girls and tuxedos for the lads...I think we wil give the high heels a miss this year,, and that goes for the girls as well...

thank you and we will see you there... I will be wearing gold just in case anyone has ideas of wearing that colour .. thank you...

"Lighten up," Cods?  You didn't smell him. I was planning to make Impossible Quiche from your CWA book but I think the buttermilk would be put to better use as a bath for Jovial Monk to neutralize his sour elderly odour.

I was thinking of wearing gold in my gown, but I do have a beautful pale blue chiffon that will do very nicely - I think I will really stand out in that cods- but at last years you had every man looking like gold fish- mouth gaping open panting- so Im sure you will take out most beautful gown again this year too.  Even though I have a beautiful tiara begging me to me wear it, so you might be in trouble this year. I cant wait for the dip and glide - been practising all month. That onesie pattern gets a workout but Im sure its going to be perfect.  Pansi better hurry on back- she is going to kick herself if she misses out

Old Ron is skinny because he is a terminal alcoholic, they don't eat- I think Jovial George will be a much better Santa- even though he does like a touch of zoom juice as well..

Once you get to know Glad she is very sweet but she pulls no punches , that is just her way- you will come to love her just like we do.  She gets take home all the left over food on trivia nights cos she spends way beyond her means and starves the rest of the fortnight, we cant see her starve!, She is like oysters, an aquired taste.

You catch more flies with honey Glad. A milk and honey bath was a ritual for Cleopatra I believe but it would have been horrible between the sheets at night with Mark Antony wouldnt it ? Such devilish thoughts- I must keep my mind on my tea cosies.... I must!
