Oh thanks you cod's, a lovely welcome. When I was in our local CWA I used to make my famous toffees, alway's sold very well, except occasionally I would forget the recipe and one of our dentured ladies was always getting her teeth stuck fast. What a kerfuffle that always was. One day her fancy saw this and the romance went cold very quickly. I have written the recipe down now. But poor Destiny was simply heart broken and left the CWA and never returned. So I offer my toffee lolly if that is acceptable ?

I am watching ' Murder Most Foul ' so I have to be getting along, Shrodinger is drinking my tea again!

Oh Margie you sound like you will fit in a treat at our branch....yes my mind boggled when you said toffee...just a dob of caramel means visits to the dental clinic for the girls...they get souped up on sugar you see there also another danger wheelies with the walking frames is not for the faint hearted.... we will of course keep Glad away from them.. she has bad corns you know and sugar is the worst thing for them...but she wont be told...

so we look forward to them on bring a plate night...

I do hope you like cleaning as we are low on funds and have to do our own cleaning for the next few weeks...the kitchen hasnt been done since.... I did make a note of the last time.. but anyway it is starting to pile up in there....so when you are in the mood please feel free...if we get another health warning we could be out..and the Boy Scout Hall committee wont even take my calls...

I am watching Last Tango in Paris....I just adore the Tango...I want to introduce it to the club...its sublime

why would they make it the last TANGO... such a shame...anyway I am off to watch....and get my fill..

Marge! Do you want to be a crone with Alzheimer's? Cat faeces has been linked to mental illness. A fact. Don't eat with your cat and wear gloves and wash up afterwards when handling its poo. Otherwise you will be known as the Crazy Cat Lady rather than The Banana Cake Lady

yes Glad the air is much clearer in here all the old man smell gone- I do swear by vinegar spritz and euco oil- might be time to hold a meeting to brainstorm some ideas about recent events- a firies hose would be suggestion I could put forward. ?

Margie I think Glad might have a point about your cat giving you that demented thing. They have some disgusting habits.

Cods I have never done the Tango- and I have never seen that movie either- doesnt it have that Obama guy in it.? Anyway girls I am dying on the vine here so I have to tend to my nightly routine -face mask etc. I look a fright by the time I am finished- the postie was peeking in my window one morning- didnt he get a shock.

we can see you are trying to change your image Glad not a bad idea...I am not sure what old men smell like Glad...have you been in the toolshed again??? I keep telling you will catch all sort of things going there..
if I see you scratching I will have to ask youto leave..so behave yourself..some of the lads are a tad sensitive to your comments about them.. and I am a bit sick of getting their complaints about you....so please be on your best behaviour as Pansi will be back soon and we have a new member Margie to welcome...its best we dont let her have the bad news too soon.....at least not until she has paid her membership..

I was asked to put one of my new scented candles in the new port-a-loo... its called Drop Dead Gorgeous by cods...I do hope you like it..another secret recipe...geo will be beside himself..

I am so glad we have another Tango fan in the club....we must have a night of fire and sensual being...its all about class you know.. dips and grace ...

the Film I havent watched it yet is Marlon Brando I believe he just sends out these vibes of lust as he dusts...it sends ripples up and down ones spine...makes one feel almost 30 again....those were the days....they dont make leading men like they used too.

I am already somewhat of crone dear but nothing weird or sinister about me I can tell you! I am sharp as a tack. I don't think I have to explain my hygeine habits to anyone, but since you seem so concerned, I observe impeccable hygiene practices, so you needn't concern yourself my dear. My Shrodinger keeps me company, my faithful , loving if somewhat mischeivous companion. I would be lost without him you know.

I do think having a cat is much better than having a boy friend Mario is one bad dude he took me on a date once its was Harrys pie stall. I was shocked..I had nowhere to put my glass of chardy... I told him in no uncertain terms if you want a second date it will have to be better than this....so he never asked again...my cat is by my side almost every second of the day...never lets me down love me to bits..... we could have a bring our Pets day what do you think girls??..of course those angry ones like Mollys bull dog Winston will have to be on a short leash...it took us hours to catch him last time when he saw the possums he was gone in a flash....I have never seen such short legs move so fast...so all pets would have to be leashed unless in a tank...

the Tattoo show and tell is on next week.. we are looking for the most modern and non freaky this year... as we all know Merv scared the willies out of us girls last year with his bandidos logo across his chest... and the naked ladies up and down his arms did him no favours .. so decorum at all times please....
the trophy is being polished as I speak...it goes a bit green in the wet weather....

Girls Xmas is just around the corner so we are looking for ideas and for someone to play Santa.....last year was not our usual success Len insisted on trying to climb through the roof... and broke his leg falling through the manhole...it wouldnt have been so bad but the girls raided his gift bag and before you know it.. everyone had the wrong gift Maud ran around with a pair of mens jocks on her head....screaming their not my size....and Alice was not amused with her suppositories...someone had put in for amusements sake ...

so if you wish to volunteer as Santa please put your name forward.. and start thinking now about the secret santa gift....and try to remember the word SECRET girls...

you have the job... not coming through the ceiling though...will we see about a sleigh maybe a mobility scooter borrowed from Red he rides one all the time...
