it is no good sucking up to madam cods..this is frowned on and will win you no favors..

the rules are ridged at the CWA they bend for no one...

flirting must be kept to a minimum at all times..

if it goes to extreme we will use the water canon..the firies found the silly little red thingy they hung on the wall wasnt nearly adequate and in fact added to the mayhem..one or two even found they liked the taste of the foam very odd...

we will be having a collection at the meet for the welcome home party for pansi.....we will also all bring a "plate"..please with something on it this time...Devon sandwiches would be nice I am sure pansi is longing to eat a devon sandwich after all that yumcha which gets very ho hum after a while...

we will also have a sticking her fridge magnet to the fridge ceremony...Madge has made a little curtain for pansi to swish back... you know how formal Madge can be there will be a photo op...my friend Cyril is in charge of photos...he is not called the happy snappy chappy for nothing...so please come dressed for the occasion no cycle shorts ladies please...

if anyone needs their walking frames tightened up that will also be a good time as Cyril does that in his spare time...only a small charge involved.. he is so generous....

remember the good old CWA anthem ladies..

All things bright and Beautiful..the good lord made us all...

we need to all sing the same words at the same time in future...please get your copy at the door its all in large print.

OhhhhI do love an occasion to get dressed up. Especially a ceremony-light refreshments and tea and coffee..I have a great Peach blossom cake that will also be a big hit and little sandwiches.

My stick is a bit rickety so must put in in for a repair and getting back to corns again but that old French Foreign Legion foot soak remedy works a treat- all healed. You might want to keep that one for your next book cods.

Dear cods , galdys, Pansi etc - we have had a bit of a glitch here today- try to look past it,unfortunatley these things are sent to test us sometimes, but we overcome eventually don't we , some of us have lived through a world war or two so we can handle pretty much anythinglife throws at us- the CWA thread is a place where invited guests are welcome but as you can see the uninvited are the real problem.

your handling of the situation is perfect agnes.. as usual...

some we can reason with others well..... I feel sorry for those that have to endure... we dont!!! lucky us..

I remember well when we had to remove Roger when he got belligerent and wanted to tip all the girls out of their chairs when we played musical chairs..... or frames as we used....he just wouldnt play fair so in the end.. we cancelled his membership and sent him packing in a police paddywagon..as he wouldnt go with dignity... Fred lost his wig in the melee and we had to buy him a new one.. and that elvis style never did suit him...but he thought it did and now wears it and flairs everywhere....pansi runs the other way when she sees him coming....hes her ex you know..

if he didnt play the banjo at our dances we would send him on his way as well...but we are meant to struggle arent we?>...

so glad to hear you will bring a full plate to the welcome home do agnes.. you are so to be relied on....

I havent heard what Glad is bringing.. a little disappointed glad...as you know you always come with an empty plate and leave with a full one....

so please buck up dear this is in a good cause..

No problems with bringing food cods I love cooking and seeing the lads wolf down the cake like starving greyhounds does my heart good. I'm not trying to win any hearts here mind- old Ron has put me off men for at least 6 months last time we had a nibbles night- he just hoovered up all the nibblies and left every plate empty- do you think we should invite him again this year- my beautiful peach blossom cake won't stand a chance and the devon sandwhiches which are meant for Pansi well - forget them. A slash of wasabi/hOT chilli on a few might serve them right.

well Ron does crack a few jokes and we do like a laugh dont we agnes just tell him the show starts an hour later than it does so we all get in first....

your cake sounds amazing cant wait to get the old teeth into it...maybe you will need to make two dear...one to hold back just in case Mavis clears the table to dance on it again....we are still finding coconut jam in the floor boards from the last time...I am making bibs for everyone this year..BIG ones...some of the girls and the lads are getting worse...gone are the days when a whole slice went in the mouth in one swoop.. now its most on the floor or in their wheels..

if Mario brings Fido.. then that will be a help.. he does rather clean up beautifully we will be using plastic plates this time so he wont be used for the washing up ... not after the last time..thank you Mario

but whilst Fidos tricks are clever, and the girls clapped and cheered.. and called for more...... there is a time and place you know.

I received a memo from head office about a complaint about a dog licking plates clean when water was rationed...its not on. I do hope Mario and Fido understand,..nothing personal..

gladys dear I would rather you concentrate on your relish...than what the members of the toolshed are doing...unless you have had a date with all of them.. which wouldnt surprise...

lest we be judged....

is one of the good old CWA mottos we try to live by..

well its something along those lines..

we accept most who come to our meetings we have only had to ban one I think that shows what skills we have in winning them round...agnes cakes usually stun them..my choko scones have been relegated to second choice...but I do allow them to take them home now....I did hear one of the members was building a footpath with them... but I think it was during the election and we all know how they smear at election time. dont we...my position is safe for the next 5 years..by then I will have invented a new recipe for my choko vine ... it is spreading fast and furious.

someone called it jack and the chokostalk.. rather amusing I thought he complained it ruined his strawberries...as if...

one of our members was caught mooning the police station..... again.....so I am off to bail her out..... again..

I asked if she could stay a few extra days but they said NO WAY...

so there will be a hat pass around at the next meet to cover the unexpected expenses...

remember gladys we depend on decorum at all times...so no more tittletattle please..
