It is refreshing to read the rants...er...wisdom of a truly dedicated Vegetarian who wouldn't eat meat based on a love of Nature!

People that eat meat but condemn hunting are called......what is that word? Could it be  hypocrites ?

No.  That's not the word.

People working in abattoirs don't carry a six pack of beer with them, and they don't celebrate the kill with high-fives and photos.

Moreover, they don't stalk the animal and hide behind trees like cowards.

If you get caught with alcohol they confiscate your guns and revoke your firearms licence

And if you don't get caught?

The maximum penalty is 5 years jail for handling a gun while under the influence of alcohol.
Can you name any other object that is legal to handle and use while sober yet carries a maximum of 5 years jail for touching after just half a can of  beer?

Item 64- Restrictions on alcohol and drugs
legislation.nsw.gov.au/maintop/view/inforce/act+46+1996+cd+0+N

The shooters groups all said they are happy with the current legislation for alcohol.

Still waiting for you to answer this question peccahead.

Sorry doofus but the adult beverages come out after the days hunt is over and the guns are put away. Alcohol before or during the hunt creates too much  liability  and spoils a person's aim.
