The Gillard government was a good one.

Only the delusional think that,

Incorrect.

The rational, unbiased thinkers always arrive at the same conclusion: the Gillard government did well.

Indeed.

Things would be so much better now if she was still our PM.

"The Gillard government successfully passed 561 bills through the parliament, including a number of significant policies.

"This is an impressive record from a minority government and even more so considering that no government bill was defeated on the floor of the House of Representatives."

"The federal election of 2010 delivered a hung parliament. Prime Minister Gillard successfully negotiated and formed a minority government, the fourteenth in our history. This coalition of the ALP, Independents and the Greens, opted to provide careful, thoughtful, stable government for a full term, so that our national government could get on with the business of governing in the national interest. And it did just that."

It's so call nonsensical threads are fact based.

Vote out the abbott mob and leadership change in the Liberals will occur, benefiting the progressive Libs in the party and the wider Australians who will see the booting out of the regressive trash.

You won't get them all ... the best one can hope for is enough of them to be voted out at the next election that they can no longer form government.

The biggest bonus of dumping regressivism/the abbott mob is not  to promote Labor, it's to give moderate Liberals the opportunity to promote Malcolm Turnbull as Liberal Party Leader.

Time to assist Malcolm in throwing out abbott.

Malcolm Turnbull refuses to back Tony Abbott's hardline attack on ABC

Abbott email sparks election talk

www.news.com.au/national/breaking-news/abbott-email-sparks-election-talk/story-e...

I don’t know how the Herald came to that conclusion. The 7.30 interview I saw had Turnbull putting the boot firmly into the ABC.

Turnbull knows the score. He’s ibeholden to Murdoch, just like every other Liberal politician. The last thing Turnbull needs is a Bolt or Divine column recalling Utegate and "bad judgement".

Turnbull has to be doubly careful. He was once a Packer employee. Murdoch does not forget these things, and nor do his more ambitious employees, who will do anything to stand out from the pack - including, of course, spy on the general public’s private phone messages.

Turnbull has to speak in Murdoch code, which was exactly what he did on 7.30.

In actual practice, you’re right. JuLiar was the most effective statesman we’ve had in years.

By comparison, in terms of actual policy achievement, she makes Mr Abbott look like a statesman in.drag.

Thank heavens the grown-ups are back in charge.

Indeed, I am.

And that's my unbiased view.
