And whilst your at it you can buy some Fortescue Metal shares Cheesy LOL

I get the feeling you have lost a lot of money and feel bitterness towards those that have been successful.

But your so called "success" is just an illusion because it is being bought with other peoples financial misery and not by being productive.

I just get pissed off that there is no money available for anything else except a property ponzi scheme. What a wasted opportunity for a country that calls itself an  "advanced" economy Sad

Hear hear sir Nail,
The money might as well have gone towards a tulip bubble.

Yep. It's recurringly clear that he played the stock market...and lost it all.

Hence why he can't afford his own home and still rents.

Hence why we're stuck with his daily whinge topics on housing.

It's all quite sad actually.

Is it ??

By the way your expertise is needed in Greece. You can teach them how to create wealth from flipping properties so they can pay back their debts Cheesy LOL

you think you'd be able to buy a house after losing your job in the recession?  I will, because my business is far more secure than your minimum wage job at the servo down the road from gay-nail.

Good post -

it proves that sir Nail was always correct.

And Dame Pansi....but we knew that all along.

Bubbles best and there's usually a blood bath when they do.

Mining boom anyone?

Boom! boom!

(what goes up must come down, even house prices)

correct.
welfare payments went up too much under labor, as did public service numbers.
Both must now come down

Fresh warning of the dangers of the property bubble.

Quote:
While many industry commentators have put rising house prices down to a shortage of supply to meet growing demand

In fact, economic modelling by LF Economics suggests that Australia has an overall oversupply of housing, to the tune of 165,000. According to David and Soos,

We have record auction clearance rates while having record low vacancy rates for renters, there is no oversupply of housing.

The housing industry supporters have no arguments and are instead engaging in personal attacks and sticking the boots into last nail.

Some of the denizens in this debate understand that the housing industry is the only thing holding the Australian economy together at the moment.

When the bubble bursts there will be blood.

Mother Abbott has no bones to throw the punters and the savage effect of unemployment on the budget and society will be tragic.

When the housing bubble bursts the wealth effect will strangle consumer spending spreading the disease through the whole of society.

Retailers are already struggling now. They will go under when the housing bubble bursts.

The smug denizens who are savagely attacking last nail for his opinion will be just as vulnerable as anyone else in the economy. You can't eat houses.
