Herb, you can get them to transfer it into my bank account if that makes you feel safer.

The thing is, codsey - this rellie of mine would have died filthy rich because even today his paintings are selling like hot cakes.
GREED
is giving me a migraine trying to decide what to do.

The only one who ever had something in a Will for me was my Russian aunt who I lived with for a few years.

Should I flip a coin? Have my palm read by a gypsy Fortune Teller? Consult with my local imam? WHOOAaaa what am I saying? It's got me all confused, codsey-baby!  Shocked

That sounds like a good idea. I'll use your Account Number as a proxy for my own ...

(I'm waiting for your PM with the Acct number ... ) Cool

This rellie is a fairly distant cousin, so we've got to hurry before more consanguineous relatives of his get in before me. Lovely Scrabble word, that.

How did you get to learn of this, Mr Mitty?

Further, I see that this Cowles bloke died leaving a sister and brother, who, if he had no Will, would have taken it all.  If he had a Will, then Lawyers would not be using this scattergun approach to locate named beneficiaries.

Smacks of a scam, linked to those ancestry sites.

I knows all about his bro and sis. They been long daid ... and according to my records neither of them had children.

And soooo ... my position as a Beneficiary isn't looking too bad. But I'm scared sh**less of getting laundered of all my meagre savings.

He did have a wife who would only be in her early 70's if she's still alive.

It's all a little too hazardous, methinks. I'm just going to walk away from this rather than get burnt.

Why on Earth would you pluck the name Harold Hookway Cowles specifically from your many arse hairs?

What email?

The document Herb posted is just one of many similar documents on the Heir Hunters Association website.
