Ireland Votes For Marriage Equality
May 23rd, 2015 at 9:08pm

Irish voters appear to have voted heavily in favour of allowing same-sex marriage in a historic referendum in the traditionally Catholic country.

Although a final result has not yet been announced, David Quinn, a leading campaigner against gay marriage and director of Catholic think tank the Iona Institute, has already conceded defeat.

Mr Quinn told national broadcaster RTE it was "obviously a very impressive victory for the 'Yes' side".

He added that early tallies indicated that those in favour of gay marriage had secured a victory "roughly in the region of two to one".

"Well done and congratulations to the 'Yes' side," Mr Quinn said

If you live in Double Bay and he does not, make sure you get a pre-nup.

This will enable denizens UnsubRocky, innocentbystander and double plus good to try for a threesome wedding.

Should a collection be started for their travel?

I suspect they are already honeymooning.

Was St Patrick an unrequited gay lover?

I think he may have been - he was ambushed by that Roman Heresy of no marriage for priests etc, so he might have a strand or ten of some form of moral deviation there.

Considering St Patrick's grandfather was a priest, I think he might have been around before the ban on clergy being married actually came into force.

Yes, it appears that Ireland is no more the Priest-ridden island it once was.   Woke up to the good news this morning.

Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

The Irish are gay.

They fight and kill each other over the interpretation of the Bible - and then they say we are as gay as each other.
They want to be loved, no matter who is doin' the lovin'.
Sad.
