This 'Appeals' nonsense is mostly in the nature of Legal Luvvies trying to frustrate what they see as 'fascist' laws being carried out on those who have been found guilty in our courts of law.

The luvvie pro bono lawyers kept the appeals process going for years on behalf of getting boat-people in our detention centres accepted for citizenship.

it wouldn't be the first time someone everything was sure was guilty turned out to be innocent. Our legal process works the way it does for a reason. Sure, it sucks to know that scum like that get to waste tax dollars, but change the system and we become no better than half of the despot nations we criticise for their crappy justice systems.

You fellas are on very thin ice.  Lisa has been to Uni and studied Law.  She knows.  She'll be back soon to destroy your comments with her withering 'Hmmmmmm.....interesting."

You blokes are just google experts and you should be banned.  Look out for Mr Hicks.

Prisons full of innocent people, just ask them. they  are all innocent. see anyhthing here which actually points to his innocence?

No, I don't, but I am not intimately familiar with all the facts.  To put it as it is, his innocence was never on Trial.  His alleged guilt was.  That can only be concluded if a properly instructed, uncontaminated Jury decide so beyond reasonable doubt based on legally admissible evidence.

Lisa, who went to Uni, and knows these things because she studied Law, will be along soon to prove me wrong.  She'll say ~ 'Hmmm....interesting.  Wrong as usual,' and that'll be that.   QED.

She is busy now with cleaning up after the BBQ, doing the washing, and looking after the beans.  But, you just watch!  She will blow my google expertise right out of the water.

It has already been established that this did not occur.

In any event, these issues are NOT at the heart of the appeal.

Oh and I don't care what Aussie produces from Professor Google regarding the Parole Board.

Why?

It's totally irrelevant.

The problem is..he hasn't realised it yet despite being given clues and despite being spoon fed by me.

Hmmm it MAY be viewed that way.

Look up "due process" and remember this : it can be a 2 edged sword.
