As the Felon said, Horatio Hornblower is a fictional character but how did Joe DiMaggio fit in from there anyway?

I have no problem with Joe DiMaggio as such.  I was just pointing out that his name starts with a J and not an R.

The 'new' historic figure needs to begin with the last letter of the one before.

So if Horatio Hornblowe
r
was relevant (which it is not) the next name would have to start with an R.

At least if your going to pick the eye out of everything I post be consistent.

Nero had a long and convulted name but is mostly known as Nero, so is Tacticus but you chose to pick up Tacticus as having a first name but not that Nero had a few names ,Take a look: Nero Cladius Divi Claudius filius Caesar Augustus Germanicus!  I think you better go back and revise  the whole sequence now or forget it and just go with the flow.
