A very peevy womens issue.
May 6th, 2015 at 8:02pm

Here is some feedback about a very peevy womans issue- will those who STILL wear badly applied blue powdered eyeshadow with clumpy mascara  just stop it- its 2015 for gods sake. and especially don't do it if you have a mohawk and shaved head with tatts on your legs and a tatt of "I was made in the uk on a flag " on your neck!!!! Not a good look ladies

I'd rather that than g-strings poking out the top of low rider jeans. I always want to grab it and pull it up over the offenders head.

It's even worse when the offender had arse antlers ... but that alone is unforgivable.

Don't they look just awful? Tatts are a very tricky one I think- is there any such thing as a tasteful tatt?

Have seen some drop dead gorgeous females Cods- they take off a coat and reveal a sleeve of ugly black tatts..and the worst of all- a bride- covered in tatts ruining her beautiful gown- call me crazy but why ruin perfectly beautiful skin?  I see lasers and scars in their future I do- get with the times-go fake! On guys , its expected I think..and can look rather cool. Not a feminine beautiful woman though- just no.

I agree Mothera- it's a real sleazy look.  Undecided  but tatts are forever.

Some look very coolish- but I question how they know they won't be sick of it in 6 months- 5yrs-?

Grin Grin Grin

"arse antlers" = the old "love handles" presumably.

What I hate in the female fashion world at the moment are those awful black fingernails.

They are 'Gothic Horror' nail-art that is obviously not designed to be beautiful or attractive to anyone other than Dracula and his coven of toothy Brides.

And as for you guys - stop wearing your stupid sunglasses on top of your heads on heavily clouded days. It makes you look like first rate wankers.

Nah Herbie, arse antlers are those matching tattoos on either side of the back. Almost always seen with low rider jeans and a g-string showing over the top. Unforivable really.

She's Irish. She should know better.

Presumably those tatts are where her succession of boyfriends can admire them just prior to rear-entry intro-mission love-making.

Did you know, codsey, that all these guys who shave their heads are actually gay?

They shave their heads bald because when they 'give head' .... etc etc.

Good for you Nifti- do you have of a tattoo of dragon scrawled across your skull as well- I can assure you you should give it a go- a splash of shocking colour ( mohawk)and the  dragon scrawled across your skull, is to die for! And the retro blue eyeshadow and clumped mascara- just set that look right off!

I have 3 small tattoos and when I was younger at various times had my septum, tongue, nostril and tragus pierced. Now I just wear one earring in each ear, a single bracelet and my wedding rings. If I wear a watch, it's one that my husband made me out of a couple of Russian military watches that are about 40 years old.

Nifty Bear, I really hope you do have a blue Mohawk. I saw one the other day and was very tempted. My colourist is brilliant - last year I had a vibrant scarlett balayage with copper ends. Now I'm bring old blonde, but bright colours are lovely.

Sadly I've been growing the 'hawk out for about a year now --- now I have shoulder length faded purple hair, which is okaaaaaay I guess. Trying to find a job wit ha blue 'hawk is impossible; I am become the system. I imagine a scarlet balayage would be quite beautiful; but hey, if you're blonde you can be more covert and fly under the radar ... they'll never suspect a thing ...

Bae," Urban Dictionary says, is an acronym that stands for "before anyone else

So in my case it means my signifiant other- babe/baby to most. My kids use it all the time.

Mine don't use "bae". They use "babe/baby" though.

But yeah, I've had to tune down the freak in an effort to find work ... I even applied for maccas .... I can almost feel my soul being sucked out ...

Unless you have been a prisoner or in the armed forces, tatts shout that you are a desperately BANAL bogan herd animal.

Tatts on suburbanites are achingly banal and stupid.  To have it written on your body, for the whole world to see, that you are unimaginative, banal, stupid and bewildered is sad, sad, sad.

'Look at me, I have summed myself up in this stupid and banal tatt'.

Ive been thinking a lot about getting two of my tattoos removed. One is on my inner wrist and the other is just above the centre of my shoulder blades. The third is never displayed, so I probably wont go through the effort for that one.

When my children are old enough, I will strongly recommend they dont do any permanent body modification. My style has changed completely and I prefer a cleaner, more elegant look as I enter my 40s. I dont care about conforming, but I do appreciate that how I look has a direct effect on how I feel.

On a similar topic, Im going for my first microdermabrasion session with an acid peel on the 27th, which Ill probably do regularly. Im also open to Botox in the near future as Ive noticed a faint line on my forehead from frowning.

Has anyone had anything similar done or am I the lone vain ranger?

Nothing done yet Annie, but I can see myself doing a bit of maitenence into the future- I am very lucky I have good genetic's. I too don't care about conformity either, but I do care how I feel about me.  I considered a tatt in  my teens but never went ahead with it as I couldn't think of anything special enough to take with me to my grave. I love my mum tatts, what do they really mean, we all love our mums dont we?

I keep seeing the ad on tv for Celebrety Apprentice and that silly bitch Sophie Monk with her puffed up botox lips, nearly makes me chuck up looking at her.

Dont do it to yourselves girls, stay natural!

Her combined with that twit off Big Brother has ensured I will never watch the show!

Saul, those full lips are achieved with dermal fillers. I wont be getting those. The botox freezes the muscle.

John, there are plenty of men who do these things too.

Agnes, my mother has terrible skin but its from spending her life sailing. Sun damage is terrible. I really believe the only reason my skin is still good is that I avoid over exposure. I just had my 41st birthday and I want to keep looking as young as I can, however vain and superficial that may seem.

There is nothing wrong with that Annie- high uvb  sunscreen, the biggest single youth serum we have ( sound's mundane doesnt it?) - use it religiously everyday, face neck arms and hands and all over if on the beach. I stay out of the sun if I can- I see my son uses it in Nivea face uvb/cream now- great to see. Sun does so much damage to skin  as you say.
