You did not write the bit you reckon is personal to you.  A total stranger, Mr Tavener, did.

So?

Far out. You really are an obsessed stalker.

Get a life and fast.

Bye.

Keep spluttering Lisa.

Back at Relationships, there's a Greek song we all are waiting for you to translate.  It's been a long time, and you still have not done it to help Ajax.

I didn't think my simple post would invoke so much conflict. Lisa translated it perfectly well. Can we move on?

The modern Greek is probably slightly awkward as it's not my biggest strength, but the Ancient Greek line is correct.

"Thank God you're here," Mr Taverner.  How fortuitous.  Lisa's and my google missed some bits.

(Ναι, λισα λέω· κι εσύ θα συμφωνήσεις.)

You posted it, so can you tell us all the literal translation into English?

OK,

This is all English for me.  (My attempt at humour - this is all Greek)

Yes I say (this), Lisa and you will agree.

The same phrase in Modern Greek. The classical Greek is probably more accurate.

Which do you prefer? Ancient or Modern?

I see you too are ducking away from giving attention to that 'same phrase.'

Can you do it this way, Mr Taverner?

Quote:
Για μένα, αυτό είναι όλο Αγγλικά

(Here insert translation.)

Quote:
ἔμοιγ᾽, λισα· σοὶ δὲ συνδοκεῖν χρεών.

(Here insert translation.)

You are very pedantic.

So it was readily translatable in its entirety as I thought....for anyone with the credentials Lisa claims......and had zero to do with personal information.......as Lisa claimed.

(Do the google, Mr Taverner and you will see why Lisa was confused half way through and had to bail.)

This is what Mr Google threw up....

Quote:
For me , that's all English

emoig , Lisa ; thee not syndokein debts.
( Yes, Lisa say ; and you 'll agree . )

Hence, Lisa had to fudge as she has.

The modern Greek is probably slightly awkward as it's not my biggest strength, but the Ancient Greek line is correct.

Which gives you away as NOT being Greek.

Look, please don't play the fraudulent "I am Greek" games "Ajax" has been playing on here lately.

I've finished exposing THAT nic as a fraud who's been plagiarizing the Greek translations of songs from a certain website AND claiming these translations as his own.

I'm kinda sick of this $hit.

ENTAXI?

Lisa, it is not about who is Greek or Irish.  It is a simple matter of easy translation for someone with your credentials.

Aussie..you're harassing people.

Cease and desist.

Ths topic is about who's your fav poster.

It's NOT about who's your fav victim to stalk on OzPol.

I'm now working out if Mr Taverner is my favourite poster.  He's entitled to that, yeas?

No. Not at all.

No confusion here at all.

I know YOU are confused though.

But that's normal for you.

And AGAIN...do not patronize my Greekness by attacking my Greek language ability.

That is what you are doing and I find it offensive.
