I bought some land there, many years ago.

Absolutely.

A relatively short drive to Denmark, and nice and close to the Porongurups too.

I wish I had kept that block of land.

It gets cold, but it's a beautiful place.

Yeah, I can't say that the food is that flash down there.

We have very well divided towns in WA.

If you are in a tourist area accommodation, food service is OK,
If you are anywhere else its a  disgrace

The dividing line runs just south and west of Mt Barker.
