Lol, idiot. vaccinations arent drugs.

Would you like me to wipe that egg off your face, or are you happy to do it yourself (again)?

Under the broad definition of drugs, vaccines are drugs.

A drug is, in the broadest of terms, a chemical substance that has known biological effects on humans or other animals.

Vaccines have biological effects and are chemical substances. Having said that though, I still agree with you on the other stuff Rhino.

I don't care if people get vaccinated or not.

If an individual feels the need to protect themselves then that's all that counts.

I don't know why parents whinge about some kids not being vaccinated....if your child IS vaccinated, they are not about to catch the dreaded disease, are they?

Yes they can for several reasons.

1. Young children might not be immunised. Vaccination is the administration of the vaccine, immunisation is the formation of an immune response. So in the first instances, children get the vaccine, but don't fully form the protective immune response, thus they rely on herd immunity to protect them. This is why children get multiple doses of some vaccines spread out over years.

2. Some children have allergic responses to vaccines, thus meaning they can't be vaccinated, they again rely on herd immunity to protect them.

actually, that's the very reason why parents whinge about other kids not being vaccinated ... because they can still get some of the diseases.

Both my wife and son got whooping cough despite being vaccinated, just because some drug high hippy parent sent their kid to school without vaccinating them. Luckily for my wife and son, they only got a mild dose of it BECAUSE of their vaccinations. A mild dose meant my wife only coughed until she bruised her ribs.

If you told the same parents you were going to inject the kid with free recreational drugs or alcohol they probably would have been the first in line..

Incorrect, as my links have demonstrated.

Start wiping away that egg.

I can't see any argument against it, unless you're going to apply the same logic to not crossing the road for fear of getting run over.
Mass immunisation, apart from antibiotics, has been the single greatest factor in reducing disease in the 20th century.

It should be up to the individual if they cross the road or not, though.

get a summons to appear at court and see if you can do it without crossing a road?

People have to do things they don't necessarily like doing every single day. How many people would go to work if they had a choice? But they do it anyway for the greater good of their families.

A lot less, if the employer decided to inject a biological preparation into the employee's child against their will.
