Lucky you, when you look back you realise how much worse it could have been. I was trashed a couple of years back in Qld , thought myself so lucky to miss the bullet, but another unexpected one came and got me, things can be fixed though and they were. I feel sorry for the families and friends of those people that lost their lives in the NSW wild weather.

Yeah, a short drive around a few streets highlighted our "luck". A few houses had trees land on/in them. Very bad damage and lucky no one was killed or injured (badly).

I was sent home from work on the first day (I was the only one there at the time). We had trees come down in our parking lot. That was also close.

So, despite the inconveniences (no internet, everything wet, leaky window damn it), we were generally unscathed. All safe and well, and house mostly in good order.
