This is an ABSOLUTE gem. But only if you like PG Wodehouse, which I guess is an acquired taste.

But in this short series, called Uncle Dynamite, you can enjoy the talents of Richard Briers (of too much to mention) as the Uncle, Hugh Grant (ditto and of the back seat with a hooker) as Pongo Twistleton and Paul Eddington (of Yes Minister) as the narrator.

Go to radioechoes.com/comedy and scan down till you find P G Wodehouse

BBC Podcasts is now giving listeners a choice between 64 & 128 bit downloads.
It involves a few more clicks but then if you have limited data it can make a difference.

I wonder if a DVD of Billy Liar available with Tom Courtenay.
I was listening to the BBC essay about it and it sounds fascinating. I've seen all the other movies discussed.

This is more than worth a listen. It should probably be compulsory listening for all secondary students and anyone who uses facebook, twitter etc.
Only available till 17/2/17 I think.

I find stories about survival at sea or shipwrecks fascinating.
This is the story of the clipper Strathmore which was wrecked in 1875 on the Crozet Islands, told from survivors diaries.

http://www.abc.net.au/radionational/programs/hindsight/tell-me-a-shipwreck/31217...

(Incidentally, this is from a long running program the ABC dropped last year. Why?)
