Anastasia seems ok to me, maybe a little too much 'the establishment', not as much as Penny Wong and Julie Bishop though, if they had a mind of their own I'd be surprised, it will be interesting to see how she goes if she ever gets in.

Oh well, tis of little consequence - the LNP are going to win the QLD election but with a massive swing against them. Labor have done little to improve their lot but the LNP have sure done a lot to stuff theirs up!

As for Newman, I reckon he will be parachuted into a safe Lib federal seat (upper or lower house - preferably lower for leadership aspirations) so I am guessing he doesn't give a stuff whether he wins or loses Ashgrove. He may end up the Leader of the Coalition in a very short period.
