So if a muslim says Allahu Akbar before blowing stuff up or beheading people it has nothing to do with Islam yet if someone attacks a muslim it's Islamophobia.

If the attacker makes comments about Islam then yes, it's Islamophobia Baron.   Cheesy Grin Cheesy Grin Cheesy Grin Cheesy Grin Cheesy Grin

Doesn't mean it wasn't an Islamophobic attack Soren.

It's interesting the excuses you're making for this attack Soren.  Whenever some has pointed out that possibility that an Islamic attacker may have an underlying mental condition you refuse to listen and put everything down to Islam.  Such rank hypocrisy!    Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy

So?  He made claims about Islam when he mounted his attack.  It appears his hatred of Islam was the motivation behind it.

If Soren and other Islamaphobes won't allow an Islamic attacker's mental health to be a factor why should we allow it for an Islamophobic attacker?   Is a demand for consistency out of place?  Or are you another who wants to make exceptions for non-Muslims?  Another hypocrit?   Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy

I've known people with schizophrenia and they can't plan anything. They are on Mars. Manic depression or another mental disorder is different. The dude that shot up the batman premiere was the same, there is no rhyme or reason but some stupid idea in their head. You can't put this together with a right wing attack or an ISIS terrorist attack. Those people are just cretins. You really should read articles through before you post them.

There was suspicion that the Canadian war memorial attacker was mentally ill as was Man Haron Monis in Sydney.  The New York axe attacker was also believed to be mentally ill.  When this has been brought up by some Soren/FD/Baron/Matty/Yadda/Sprint/Moses/et al. all declared this "apologism" and "making excuses", Islam was the cause and the only cause.

Therefore, consistency suggests that mental illness cannot be used as an excuse for any crime, religious or other inspired.   If this Islamophobe was mentally ill it was his Islamophobia which inspired him and that is all that should be considered.

This is a black and white world we live in, according to the Islamophobes.  Which means we now judged all by their religious/political inspiration and nothing more!   Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin

I am just quoting from the article you posted, numpty.

Also from the article:

"Abdallah Zekri [president of he National Observatory Against Islamophobia] condemned the attack “as a horrible Islamophobic attack”

...

"Police said yesterday that the claims of Islamophobia will be investigated when they start questioning the attacker."

Which presumably means you endorse that viewpoint Soren!  None of the criticism you had when all those "Islamic" attackers were found to be suffering from mental illness...  Such a hypocrite you are!   Grin Cheesy Grin Cheesy Grin Cheesy Grin

Who are 'all those' mental patients? New York, Bali, London, Madrid bombers? No. Mumbai mass murderers? No. London beheaders, Canadian, Sydney, Fort Hood bastards? No. Charlie murderers? No. Sydney rioters in 2012? No. Who then?

Mental illness was mentioned as a possible cause in several of the attacks Soren but you automatically discarded it every time, declaring that Islam was the only cause, ever that could be considered!

Now, we wouldn't want you to be seen to be inconsistant, now would we?   Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin

How about in this posting, Soren?  And this one?.  In both, you clearly discard the possibility of mental illness as a contributing factor to the attack in Ottawa.

Then, for the New York Axe attack we have you questioning the possibility of underlying mental illness being the cause, Soren.

This is like shooting fish in a barrel.   Roll Eyes
