Sirloin steak, cabbage, carrots, beans, and potato. Served with a sprinkle of curcumin, ginger, and onion flakes.

Hot dogs with cheese and tomato sauce. I forgot to get the sausages out to thaw so that I could cook up some curried sausages.

I got a cray from Woollies today for $23 and they seem a regular item of late thanks to China rejecting them, it was really nice with a light sprinkling of white pepper and a lettuce leaf.

Put together 21 sausages to cook up for curried sausages and noodles. Added cabbage, garlic, capsicum, onion, mushrooms to the mix. I was going to boil up some carrot and peas, but was satisfied with the curried sausages and noodles.

Last night I put some chicken thigh fillets in a marinade and they'll go on the Webber.

I've only recently discovered how easy it is to BBQ thigh fillets because they're pretty even density so they cook perfectly and never dry out.

Managed last night to produce dinner with 100% home grown organic ingredients.
Spaghetti squash with a sauce of olive oil, tomato, garlic, parsley, capsicum.
Baby potatoes boiled in their skins then smothered in chives and home made yoghurt. Roasted ‘Golden Nugget’ pumpkin.
Nectarines poached in home made quince liqueur with blackberries.

Only possible due to having raised beds protected with chicken wire to keep the plague of rabbits away.

Rabbits killed a couple of my fruit trees—they love the tender bark of young fruit trees. Thick coat of bituminous paint to about 50cm above ground level prevents them eating the bark. Have to keep the coverage complete tho.

Home grown is great, but organic is just meaningless marketing BS.
