I took some chicken thighs out of the freezer when I got home.  I think I will toss them into the slow cooker tomorrow with some honey and soy etc and just serve it with crusty bread tomorrow night.

That sounds yum. My turn to cook tomorrow,  so a classic dad recipe.

A basic Napolitano sauce, one italian sausage which flavours the whole pot then beef sausages for the kids.

Sounds good.   I think I would eat anything so long as someone else cooked it and so long as it doesn't contain capsicum, peas or coffee   Undecided

Firstborn came home from a friends house, Lithuanian mum who is an amazing cook and said, dad she made me eat so much I'm in pain  Smiley

She had some kind of russian sausage, chilled borscht and salad.

Mrs and Baby Gordy were also out and sorted themselves out, so I had to fend for myself tonight so I'm tidying up the fridge.

The was a little bit of beef mince and a few slices of pancetta so I cooked them up. No need to add anything as the pancetta has enough flavour. I had a half cup of black eyed beans, in they went plus the last few mushrooms in , the back end of a capsicum and a few frozen peas from a bag that was nearly empty.

Leftovers, but yummoo.

Blue swimmer crab, celery, mayonnaise, oven baked chips, salad, warm bread and a few Jameson/lime/ginger to wash it down.

meat pies in microwave, then cut up and mashed, sauced lightly with various exquisite outback sauces and then re-zapped in the microwave with a layer of sliced block cheese.
So good, I ate six pies this way in one sitting.

Last time I was in London a friend insisted we go and have a meat pie with mushy peas for lunch.

Apart from the fact that I hate peas the experience almost turned me off meat pies for life!   Shocked

I've just had Rabbit for the 2nd time.
First time I cooked it - it was yuck!
This time, someone else cooked it and it was delicious!
It's a different 'light' tasting meat with light colouring of meat.

It's a meat to get you by on in the bush, definitely not what you call high energy quality meat, like Venison or Kangaroo.
The difference between Roo & Rabbit meat is very substantial.
