Really? It's wayyyyy too fiddly to try and eat. Isn't it?

They were halved with big chunks of firm sweet flesh ready to eat. It was next level gud.

I've been a bit take or leave it but after Saturday,  maybe it was the best Lobster ever but I loved it.

This client has a huge entertainment budget,  he just says order whatever the heck you want, let's see how big we can make the bill.

Crazy.....

Admittedly I don't feast on it too much these days.  If I ate it nightly I might overdo it but it's only once every couple of months nowadays and I enjoy it immensely.

No there is a LOT of flesh in a Lobster.  Forget the legs unless they are huge.  I often used to buy Lobster tails which are ALL flesh.

Crabs are fiddly to me because they are mostly way too small here.

Mud crabs are pretty good but you'll still get messy.
The lobby was very civilized with big pieces ready to fork out... Ohh.

I took a photo of them but my phone stuffed up and the shot of it was corrupted..
Next time.

I was told by an expert to use parboiled rice for the Jambalaya which I had never seen before.   That's my biggest worry as I have not used it before but I found some in Coles yesterday and fingers crossed    Smiley

Ok thanks Gordy  Smiley

Meantime....it's gonna get to 32 degrees here today.

I'm thinking triple smoked ham + salad. I'll get hubby to go buy the ham. Oh and fresh bread rolls too.

I've got a watermelon that needs to be cut up.

Might throw some blueberries and strawberries on top with a bit of cold custard.

The kids like Paul's Double Thick Custard...so I'd better get hubby to grab some of that too.

I hope this will be enough. Sad Huh Undecided

Hoping the dinner fairy will pay a visit to us tonight.  Broke my ankle and just cannot be bothered. Maybe this bag of sugar coated almonds will suffice for now.

We had a bbq tonight.

Hubby wanted to road test his new bbq so meh....I let him cook up a few rump steaks and lamb cutlets.

And heaps of sausages.

I made a Greek salad using 3 of my home grown Roma tomatoes. To finish the salad off I needed cucumbers and as mine weren't ready to pick...I used a few lebanese cucumbers I bought yesterday instead.

Fresh bread rolls went well with the above.
