Sorry to disagree but Clarke has proven he is a champion and performs when the chips are down.....However if his injuries make him a risk then he should probably think of retiring!!!

Huh Huh Huh

phil - you disagree without abuse and remaining on topic !!!!!!

M Clarke was one of our best batsman.
He captained the other night for the first time in the comp.
Result was we did not win and he could not even bat !!!

As much as I love him, time for him to step aside gracefully.

Why would I abuse you Sprint.....The conduct on this forum is a credit to everyone who posts here especially you!!!

Clarke is facing his biggest challenge and must return and play without injury to be a consideration for the Ashes.....If he breaks down again I doubt selectors will risk him again in a big series!!!

Yes, I wonder if the conduct here is due to the nature matter ?

In sport, the result is undeniable.
At the end of a game .......... 42 - 15 is the score.
Sure, there may have been a homegrond advantage, or one side was disadvantaged for some reason or another.
End of the day though, and in the record books, 42 - 15 stands
