I've gotta hand it to you, Herb.

There's not a day goes by without someone, or many someones, rising to the bait.

To call you a mere troll is so very inaccurate, so very inadequate.

You remind me of Spencer Tracy in that movie, "The Old Man of the Sea". Or something of that sort - pure Hemingway.

Time and time again I watch you patiently bait a hook before casting a line into turbulent waters, only to be thwarted by the nibblers and rubbish fish while waiting for the big strike.

And, eventually, comes the fish you were after.

Aaaaaaah! The hit you were willing to fight.

'Tis a pity that your skills are rarely reciprocated.

Never mind, true artisanship can be admired from afar.
