Commission says Gillard 'committed no crime'
Oct 31st, 2014 at 6:46pm

How long will it take before someone says it was rigged?

Quote:
An inquiry's been told former prime minister Julia Gillard did not commit any crime in relation to an alleged corrupt slush fund operated by her one-time boyfriend. The lawyer leading inquiries for the trade unions royal commission has recommended a finding that Ms Gillard did not commit any crime and did not know about alleged criminal activity by her former lover, union boss Bruce Wilson. The recommendation is among the written submissions to the commission by counsel assisting, Jeremy Stoljar SC, published today.

So it appears as though the Abbott backed the wrong horse in his pursuit of Julia Gillard and support of Kathy Jackson.....How Abbott will spin this to justify his actions will be interesting!!!

Quote:
Mr Stoljar has also urged the commissioner to find that Health Services Union (HSU) whistleblower Kathy Jackson made a false claim for funds to Victoria's Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and that charges be considered.

With everything else he's done and how he's gone about it, maybe he should become known as "Wrongway Abbott".

There will be a lot of people who will have egg on their faces over this, not the least of which will be Michael Smith who has pursued Gillard and backed Jackson.....Smith and his supporters have shown a complete lack of judgement and look very foolish now and Tony Abbott has shown once again he has no idea about the truth!!!

Sorry George but I do not agree......Gillard was a great reformer but was poisoned by Kevin Rudd which detracted from her performance overall.......Rudd was one of the worst PM's IMO and did more harm than good apart from some symbolism which would have happened without him......Howard was a good PM even though I disagreed with his policies and pork barrelling he had popular support and did some good things over a long period of time.....Abbott needs time to truly be judged but he is not off to a good start and looks like being one of the biggest frauds ever elected.....Time will tell!!!

Huh Huh Huh

I am a political tragic is why I remember his name, that and the damage he and his sidekick did to the economy, said damage still going on.

Abbott is just a vandal, will take half a century to undo the damage he is doing.
