Dingo attack women on Fraser Island.
Oct 27th, 2014 at 4:53am

Some time ago someone on this board gave me a serve for saying the dingoes on Fraser Island are a danger to adults, and not just children.

You can sign my 'Sorry Book' now.

Hungry dingoes eat people, whatever their size.

I thought the laws on Fraser were not to feed the dingoes??

and this is what the visitors do

the dogs do not know if these women had food for them..

perhaps the aborigines will fix that problem..

Just waiting for some idiot to begin calling for a cull, or removal.

They invariably do, when something like this occurs.

No, you aren't supposed to feed them. Yes, there are signs.

For this very reason.

cull the visitors more like...

I hate it when they kill a croc or a shark for killing a human....

there is something really weird in that way of thinking...I have never understood it.

There are no abos on the island as far as I know.

Being attacked by a dog is terrifying. I was stalked and attacked by a brutal mongrel when I was living in China as a boy.

Had 14 injections straight into the stomach as a precaution against the dog having rabies. It turned out it didn't. They painted the dog's head with a blue dye to let people know it was free of rabies. It was a guard dog at a sesame seed warehouse.

The problem is when a shark, bear, or lion develops a taste for human flesh, and then seeks it out as a priority food source.

the facts are herb Dingoes are not your every day dog....and Mr bloody Average should know that...

they are a wild animal...and it is the feeding of them that brings them into contact with humans..

just so someone can take a selfie.. bloody hopeless..I am sure your terrifying experience is memorable but honestly you cannot compare the two

I was walking past the place on my way home from school ~ but someone left one of the little gates open that was half hidden behind some bushes. It didn't actually bite me. It jumped up against my back and shredded my shirt with its paws, but then stopped when I kept walking.

That was 1952.

No one was feeding them. They were jogging.
