When we have the next Great Depression (it's just around the corner) the government will have the defence force, armed with guns and metal detectors,raid your house for your precious metals.

I just hope Abbott has been ditched by then, he'd confiscate your small change and the kids money boxes as well.

It's been 75 years since the federal government, on the spurious grounds of fighting the Great Depression, ordered the confiscation of all monetary gold from Americans

the chinese are hoarding gold all of the time and their own government is encouraging them to do so. It's only these clowns here who think that precious metals should not be a part of your super portfolio. Instead they prefer you to own promissory notes which can easily become worthless.
