Went to see Exodus: Gods and Kings, and must say, it was interesting with the story from the bible, trying to keep it real, with the sea scene.....and a lot of special effects, wow.
Hubby and I liked the movie, daughter saw it a couple of nights ago and she thought it was an interesting story, but her BF thought it was boring.
I can tell you something that pleased me, I hardly ever go to the movies because, unless it is just a good visual film, and if there is a lot of dialogue, and the hearing problem I have, I miss a lot of what is said and lose interest in the movie.
The good thing at Reading cinema is, they gave me these earphones, and it worked an absolute treat! I had it so loud, it was fantastic.
Makes the movie even better!
Usually, I just wait until it comes out in DVD to hire, and then have the subtitles.
It's annoying to others, having the subtitles covering part of the scene, but, instead of me asking "What did they say" like I used to, now the tables have turned, if they miss out on hearing something or it wasn't clear enough, they ask me "What did they say?" because I read it
