Ottowa, Canada has recently had a couple of jihadist-style terrorist attacks. As you may be aware, Ottowa is one of the most liberal and multicultural cities around. So it seems that, were nutters are concerned, playing nice is not the way to go.

On Bing as I just turned on Computer-San, the headline was '17 year old's friends support joining jihadists'.

Seems that not only this DYK (Dopey Young Kid) but all his DYK mates are the same.

Maybe the ghettoes aren't such a bad thing. Round 'em all up at 3am in a Night and Fog...

Make a list and new laws required :- 'Advocating and Supporting Terrorist and other Criminal Acts Act, 2014'....

Ten years in the Gulag.... not for punishment - for re-education...

You've hit on a serious issue for modern society - the lack of a path for their valor of our youth (and others) - which is why people gravitate to fringe sects, gangs, outlaw gangs and so forth.

That is why you see so many people turning to rock-set religious based creeds such as Islam (and others - the Little Pebble springs to mind - James Jones - Charles Manson), which is easy to handle since all you have to do is do as you are told.

Draws the weak-minded in droves. Ummm - Daniel Silva (I think) wrote a book about Islam becoming the governing religion of the US..... might be The Mark Of The Assassin.

Someone wrote a fiction book in the 1960's called 'Path for Our Valour' about conscription and the US 101st Airborne and training, and the vast differences between the 'old hands' and the new hands.....
