Correct!
He's just a 'silly punk'.
Nothing to do with Islam.
Take away Islam, and he's
still a cowardly little punk.
Weak people like him need something to latch onto.
If it wasn't Islam, it would have been something else.
You've hit on a serious issue for modern society - the lack of a path for their valor of our youth (and others) - which is why people gravitate to fringe sects, gangs, outlaw gangs and so forth.
It is no longer the way of the Australian man to grow up, work himself to death and courageously stand in the trenches and fight for his country, woman and family. For a girl it is no longer good enough to raise her family, tend to home and hearth, and be the cement that holds the entire family institution together.
Essentially such things have been emasculated (sic) (efemulated? - the mind boggles) out of our society and we are left with a disassociated group of wandering souls with no place to rest.
That is why you see so many people turning to rock-set religious based creeds such as Islam (and others - the Little Pebble springs to mind - James Jones - Charles Manson), which is easy to handle since all you have to do is do as you are told.
Draws the weak-minded in droves. Ummm - Daniel Silva (I think) wrote a book about Islam becoming the governing religion of the US..... might be The Mark Of The Assassin.
Someone wrote a fiction book in the 1960's called 'Path for Our Valour' about conscription and the US 101st Airborne and training, and the vast differences between the 'old hands' and the new hands.....
