But Steven Tyler & Keith Richards never took alcohol or drugs -

they were good clean living Christians.

I've heard otherwise, unless you're playing with me.  Cheesy
Beyoncé is a "good Christian" too, yet she loves to pretend she's the lady in red in her videos.

Indeed. I wouldn't turn to botox to save me either.

Greta Van Susteren, Fox news reporter, aged 60. While she doesn't look old, it's at the expense of not being able to talk properly and having odd facial expressions.

Drug & alcohol use really does 'age' people before their actual age. I barely have grey hair (40's) and thanks to FB, I see people who I went to school with, look in their 50's due to continued 'Partying'.
Over-working oneself, also ages people - along with 'Stressful Relationships'.
I've never been one to 'suffer' for my Art, as they say. I'll put a good effort in and be happy with that, but I'll never push the envelope and put myself through 'suffering'.
Even Top Athletes, suddenly look far older once they retire, which is understandable, considering what they put themselves through just to be number 1. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome comes with 'over-doing'.

Don't be an under-achiever, but being an Over-Achiever is not what its all about either.

Worked Aged Care and been around 'oldies' many times via other things in life.
The Aged Care Facilities are mostly filled with people who have 'aged' quickly due to MANY factors, or just been dumped by their kids.

Its always a pleasure though, to see people in their 90's who still get around 'normally' in a physical manner and are still mentally clicked on. Where 'true tiredness' only comes in the last few months, or even few weeks of their lives when they almost get to 'choose' when to go.
These people tend to enjoy a 'quality' of life and its not always due to the pleasures of Wealth. From what I've seen, the people who marry the 'one person' for life via Love - tend to grow well and with happiness, even through any poverty of it all.
These people - still have that look of looking 'younger' than their actual age without falsifying it via 'cosmetics', or acting like children by doing childish things like climbing trees. The come across as 'young' by just acting their age and being themselves.

"Will I go to Heaven?"
I was often asked by someone near death (Aged Care or Palliative).
I could only answer
"You will go wherever your Dreams take you."

If you look up his life, on wiki, you will see the drug charges and the heroin addiciton he had.
Yep, booze and drugs and cigarettes do no favours for your looks/skin etc.

I was never boozy, never took any recreational drugs, the only drugs were the occasional panadol (maybe once a year) and penicillin every few years.

Smoking I did when I was younger, but gave it up when I was about 24 yrs of age.
Thank goodness, reason was, it went to $1 a packet and I thought that was too much money on something not good for me anyway.

So, you could say, I had liked clean living, clean rain water, and yesterday, was a the Royal Melbourne Show, talking to people in their stands selling their products, as we do, and we got to talking about age, I am always given 10 or more years younger as a guess, which then I say, my age, and the shock disbelief always gives me a giggle.
"What's your secret?" I got asked.

Good question, I couldn't answer it in few words, but just said, enjoy the day, and laugh lots.

Of course, it goes back to eating well, getting adequate sleep, living a simpler lifestyle, feeling lots of love for those nearest and dearest, helping others when we can, and feel appreciated, not having too high expectations of what 'life is supposed to mean'.....be happy with what we have.
In other words, try not letting stress overtake you.
Find ways to deal with it, overcome it, find some resolve for your own peace of mind.

One thing about ageing, is to accept it, why avoid the inevitable? We have enough fountain of youth, we need more fountain of smart.

That's not botox, Freedumb.

Apparently she had a deformity or an injury, I don't recall which.

The strange speech and facial expressions are a result of the corrective surgery.

Really? My bad! That was horrible of me.
It resembled botox to me.

It does, and tbh I thought the same thing at first, when I first saw her on CNN (I think, or maybe Fox) some years ago.

But, apparently not.

No 'bad' on your part, you weren't to know. I only knew cos I recalled it being mentioned in a short TV 'bio' of her around
that time..  Wink
