But Steven Tyler & Keith Richards never took alcohol or drugs -
they were good clean living Christians.
I've heard otherwise, unless you're playing with me.
Beyoncé is a "good Christian" too, yet she loves to pretend she's the lady in red in her videos.
If you look up his life, on wiki, you will see the drug charges and the heroin addiciton he had.
Yep, booze and drugs and cigarettes do no favours for your looks/skin etc.
I was never boozy, never took any recreational drugs, the only drugs were the occasional panadol (maybe once a year) and penicillin every few years.
Smoking I did when I was younger, but gave it up when I was about 24 yrs of age.
Thank goodness, reason was, it went to $1 a packet and I thought that was too much money on something not good for me anyway.
So, you could say, I had liked clean living, clean rain water, and yesterday, was a the Royal Melbourne Show, talking to people in their stands selling their products, as we do, and we got to talking about age, I am always given 10 or more years younger as a guess, which then I say, my age, and the shock disbelief always gives me a giggle.
"What's your secret?" I got asked.
Good question, I couldn't answer it in few words, but just said, enjoy the day, and laugh lots.
Of course, it goes back to eating well, getting adequate sleep, living a simpler lifestyle, feeling lots of love for those nearest and dearest, helping others when we can, and feel appreciated, not having too high expectations of what 'life is supposed to mean'.....be happy with what we have.
In other words, try not letting stress overtake you.
Find ways to deal with it, overcome it, find some resolve for your own peace of mind.
One thing about ageing, is to accept it, why avoid the inevitable? We have enough fountain of youth, we need more fountain of smart.
