The 9/11 attacks had left people questioning how the government could let these attacks happen, after having at near 20 years of prior warning.
*Osama bin Laden had told, in 1982, of his intentions of seeing the USA lose their buildings in the same way the Lebanese had lost their buildings in Lebanon during the Israeli-Lebanon war. * Plus, the fact that the USA had used someone like bin Laden to fight against the "communists" in some kind of dick measuring contest between the USA and the USSR over Afghanistan. Had the USA not supported Osama and the overseas fighters in Afghanistan, then the Russians could have possibly rid the world of Osama and his cronies. Or the Russians could have gotten bogged down in some war in Afghanistan for longer to the point that the secession of the Baltic States could have gone ahead; the cold war could have thawed; and Osama would have redirected his focus against the Russians instead of the Americans. But that's all for speculation.
*Osama has reportedly told that the only way for him to not attack America is 1) for the Americans to stop supporting Israel; 2) to get out of the Middle East militarily and culturally; and 3) to convert to Islam. There were other things in OBL's list of demands, but they escaped my memory. Whilst I have been a recent convert to the idea of America in stopping their support of Israel to some extent, I do consider Israel to be the lesser of "two" evils. Bibi Netanyahu may be the bane of my news viewing some days, but I would trust the country he leads over other countries in that region. No, I don't trust Netanyahu. As for the American military getting out of the Middle East, it does warrant some merit. I bet there are plenty of Americans that would like to see an end of occupation forces in the Middle East, simply to ease and stop the burden of dead soldiers coming home for mourning families, as well as the troublesome taxation needed to fund peace efforts. Finally, the idea of forcing Americans to convert to Islam is as ridiculous as it gets. America is the most religious country in the world, and even the Vatican is telling Americans to tone it down. I think Iran has been quoted telling the USA "Geez, guys, it's only a story" in regards to the heavy bible thumping coming from America. You might as well ask someone to push water up hill. No, speaking as an agnostic, I laugh at the suggestion that a devout warmonger will stop attacking a country, if that country takes a diametrically opposite religious adoption. You might as well say that you aren't going to stop fighting until the enemy is eliminated. Save your breath better that way.
Regarding the government cover up, I don't know if they are trying to cover it up. I think they spent a good amount of time trying to blame a former ally like Osama. Rightly so, but the USA still has "blood on their hands". There is no reason why the Americans could not have used their voice detection programs on the phone network and found those 19 (or even most of them) before the 9/11 attacks could take place.
I bet there are plenty of conspiracy theories regarding the attacks, but I can't be bothered going over these stupid theories that are speculative at best.
