WHY is public transport prohibitively expensive..

Why is public transport prohibitively expensive if climate change has been a clear and present danger for over 50 years?

*Sure....they're anti competitive as any subsidised job is.  It wouldn't be there without the tax payer.  Very damned difficult for a brainwashed collectivist to understand that I know....  (swaggy) *

I wouldn't even consider driving my car to work.

I work in the Perth CBD.

The bus costs me $5 a day.

Parking is around $25 to $35 a day alone.

$25 a week for public transport, to and from work.  No wear and tear on my car.  No petrol. No parking fees. No traffic congestion. What a bargain!

I havent been on public transport for years since it doesnt go anywhere I need to go and I get free parking in the city if I need it. $5 sounds cheap though.

I have a card that gets automatically topped up from my bank when it gets low.  That gives me a 25% discount.

Plus, I only travel a short distance, so, my $5 per day is quite cheap compared to other people I guess.

I suppose the average person pays around $8.80 to $10.60 per day.

I'd advise you not to: they're as dodgy as.

They split up their stores into sections comprising of 15 or less employees, in order to get around various workplace laws.

Avoid them like the plague.
