Who would Palmer back in a hung parliament?
I think he hates Abbott too much and would insist on a new leader in order to back the coaltion.

it shouldnt be about "HATE" should it?

we see what "HATE " is doing to the middle east...

do we really need that in our parliament.???

do we?...

I would expect anyone who has the honor of representing us... to do whats best for the country and NOT THEMSELVES..

if you dont expect that because you are full of HATE.. then maybe you need to have a rethink...

do we want brother against brother until the death in this country??...which is where HATE leads us..

and as a result he'll become defacto PM, controlling every element of the Liberal Party.

This scenario is impossible, skip, remember: Tony won't negotiate to form government. He doesn't want government unless it's in his majority Wink

You have a good point, cods - hate should have nothing to do with it and we should simply execute or gulag recalcitrant politicians in cold blood and without emotion clouding our aim.

Failure to actively promote good government and working against the interests of the Australian people should carry a mandatory five years in the GAIA Gulag Section at dole rate or prison rates of 'pay' while those working on the WfTC (Work for The Citizenship) Scheme are getting full training, decent accommodation, and full rates of pay.

All found is not required - after all they can be supplied with food from the prison system of NSW central cooking area - great stuff and obviously perfect for the needs of those involved in eating it.   We'll fly in their boiled and soiled cabbage daily. They also get a tent to sleep in so they are doing just fine, as long as they don't try to run which will cost them an extra five years if they aren't shot first.

GAIA Scheme - work will make you free of your political stupidity!

Clive would be more receptive to an intelligent articulate conservative leader who has the ability to think and release thought out policy, like Turnbull , isn't Clive on the record as saying the LNP has lost it's way and gone to far right? This coming from Clive, a self confessed Liberal.

I'd be quite surprised if it turned out Clive's distaste (if you like) of the Liberal Party didn't contribute heavily to his decision to start a new party and run in last year's election.

In the even of Abbotts promised DD election the good people of Australia will make sure that Labor romps home in both houses.
After all its the only way to save this country from the ultra right nutbags that have taken over the Liberal Party.

Well, no. There is another way. But it wouldn't be pretty.
