Moon Landing Anniversary Today
Jul 21st, 2014 at 7:14pm

Congratulations to the crew of Apollo 11, for a dangerous mission, bravely and successfully (and REALLY) carried out.

Hopefully Buzz or Michael will still be with us in 4 years time for the 50th Anniversary.
RIP Neil

Many researchers have pointed out the different angles of
light on the surface of the moon. Because there is only one light source (the
sun) how can there be multiple light angles on the moon such as this?:

Interesting to note that the flags left behind are/have faded in the sunlight, unprotected by the buffer of an atmosphere.

In 50 years time, with all those white flags, it'll look like the French got there first.

And ran away again.

Cool

LOL, yeah. Hopefully, before then, the will be another mission to the moon to replace the original flags.

I cant see anything wrong with the shadows in those pictures..

are people just making stuff up?

shadows are all basically going the same way... you assume everyone in the pictures are standing up dead straight although there is little gravity on the moon...

putting your arms out or leaning a bit one way will make shadows be a "little" off but so what?

let me know when you have a picture with shadows that actually go different ways...  Roll Eyes

I remember it. I was at school and we were all taken into the canteen where there were several TVs around, to watch it. I am glad of that, because I do believe it was real, it happened.

Why? Because the most straight forward answers are usually the right ones, in my experience.

So I believe the moon landing took place, I believe Harold Holt drowned and was NOT whisked away in Japanese sub, Diana died because she was dumb enough to get into a car without doing up her seatbelt. There are no reptilian aliens, only us. And so on.
Makes life much simpler. Grin

Besides, the American space program had its share of disasters and we shared those too.
I wish they would hurry up with the next phase, a Mars mission.
