There has to be some (cover up) reason the information from the black boxes has not been released.  Logic says...............??

No cover up at all.
A couple of months between the recovery of recorders and the release of an official report is not at all unusual. In all likelihood, it's only going to be the last few seconds of the data that's of any real use.

They've announced when they'll release the preliminary report. The flight recorders are safe and sound in the Netherlands until that happens.

That would make sense if this was a usual situation.  It isn't.  It is in the interests of the World that whatever information (those boxes from a plane shot out of the sky) contain ought be released as a matter of urgency, lest , for example, Abbott declares War on Russia.

Nothing will be found on the black box.
Only 2 hours of cockpit conversations are kept

Digital recorders have enough storage for 25 hours of flight data but only two hours of cockpit voice recording, which is recorded over itself in a loop. The CVRs track the crew's interactions with each other and air traffic control, but also background noise that can give vital clues to investigators. Earlier magnetic tape versions could only record 30 minutes of cockpit conversations and noise, which was also recorded in a loop.

Of course there's a coverup. If the black boxes supported USA disinformation and propaganda it would have been all over the media. The reason for the delay is the information is being manipulated and sanitized to please the USA.

There has been a preliminary meeting on the contents of the black box recorders and the Malaysian government attended. The Malaysians hhave already released the verdict that Ukraine shot MH17 by allowing leading government-aligned newspaper to print that headline.

There is also the issue of the recordings of voice communications between Ukraine traffic control and MH17 which are still being withheld by Ukraine. If these were favourable to USA propaganda they would have already been in the media.

You're right on the money LTYC....!

By comparison the Malaysians gave up their ATC recordings within 24 hours of MH 370 going missing.

The Russian Separatists gave up the MH 17 Black Boxes as soon as they had someone in authority to hand them over to, unmolested and relatively undamaged.

Now go compare those honest and responsible acts of assistance and support of a transparent investigation with what's been happening (or not happening) since the so-called 'thorough investigation' of MH 17 got under way.....

For a start the Ukrainian authorities should have by now been charged with serious crimes relating to wilful suppression of evidence in a mass murder investigation. No if's, no but's...no matter the contents, the crime is in the suppression of the ATC material.

And please don't forget that these important pieces of evidence are in the hands of cringing US puppets....that goes for the Dutch just as much as the Poms. So what frikking chance does the world, and more importantly the bereaved, have to get an honest investigation?

Absolutely zero...zilch....move along folks, nothing to see here.....

Here's a report from a Chinese News source, published back on 28 July.

This outlines Russia's strident calls for international (read - non US aligned puppets) involvement in the investigation and especially calls on the West (read - US) to have Kiev stop escalation of fighting so investigators can do their work....

Of course the US has no influence over their own very expensively installed proxy-Ukraine-government (wink, wink) so the disruptive fighting goes on in the vicinity of the crash, ensuring the investigation will be compromised.

Why didn't our mainstream media report this responsible request from the Russians?

Oh yeah, they were too busy headlining all the hysterical (groundless) accusations of Russian guilt spouted by US and Australian politicians who clearly have no morals and therefore seek a new dangerous stand-off with Russia.....

Sick bastards......

Russia calls for probe into MH17 crash under UN aegis

English.news.cn   2014-07-28 21:05:00

MOSCOW/KIEV, July 28 (Xinhua) -- The investigation into the crash of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 should be held under the aegis of the United Nations, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Monday.
"We believe that such an inquiry must begin as quickly as possible under the UN aegis," Lavrov told reporters.
"We are alarmed about the fact that some of our partners are trying to turn the practical, all-involved investigation into separate bilateral talks with the Ukrainian government," he said.
He added that Russia demands the implementation of a safe access for international investigators, saying his country hopes that no one will try to cover up traces during the investigation.
"We insist on an impartial and transparent investigation into the crash. Russia abides by the UN Security Council resolution, which requires all parties not to take any action that might complicate the investigation," Lavrov said.
Russia will seek a ceasefire for the investigation and the West should influence Kiev in this regard, he said.
"We heard about Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko's pledges. But his words do not match his deeds. The fighting continues," he said.
Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on Sunday called for an immediate ceasefire in eastern Ukraine, but the two sides kept blaming each other for hindering the investigation and escalating conflict between government forces and insurgents.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian authorities said a team of international investigators, who examined the content of the Malaysian jetliner's black boxes, pointed to a "massive explosive decompression" as a possible cause of the disaster.
According to a report, published on the website of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, the crash of MH17 was probably caused by "a massive explosive decompression due to multiple shrapnel injuries from a rocket explosion."
The report also said the field investigation into the incident is delayed as international experts have not been able to access the site.
The explosive decompression of a plane means that the aircraft fuselage suddenly breaks apart, leaving few chances for passengers to survive.
MH17, a Boeing 777 en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, crashed on July 17 in restive Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine, sending the pieces of wreckage within a 15-km radius of the crash site. None of the 298 passengers and crew survived.
Although the Ukrainian government and insurgents in the eastern region have traded barbs, accusing each other of being responsible for the incident, aviation experts have said it is too early to speculate on the causes before the international investigation ends.

More crap from the neo Nazis in Kiev

The West has rebuked Russia for sending scores of trucks from a controversial aid convoy to east Ukraine's rebel-held Lugansk in a move Kiev decried as an 'invasion.'The European Union and the United States demanded that Russia immediately withdraw the convoy, amid fears the cargo could shore up pro-Moscow rebels fighting Kiev's forces.Washington warned Russia it could face further sanctions, while the UN Security Council expressed concern the move could lead to an escalation in the four-month conflict. Some 280 trucks from the Russian convoy had been waiting at the border with Ukraine for a week as Moscow pressed for the aid to be delivered urgently to civilians in areas that have come under Ukrainian shelling.By evening, the trucks had all reached Lugansk and were unloading their cargo, Russian state television reported.Russian President Vladimir Putin said further delay would have been 'unacceptable' as he justified the decision in a phone conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who travels to Kiev Saturday for talks with Ukraine's leadership.Merkel and US President Barack Obama warned that Moscow's military presence and shelling were triggering a 'dangerous escalation' of the conflict, and they demanded it remove the convoy. In a telephone call, the pair 'agreed that Russia sending a convoy into Ukraine without Ukraine's approval is a further provocation and a violation of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity,' the White House said.A first group of trucks reached Lugansk, which has been without water and power for weeks, after making its way along a perilous route from the border, a local official said.Ukraine's security service head Valentyn Nalyvaychenko condemned the entry as 'a direct invasion' but said Ukraine will not order air strikes on the trucks.Ukraine and Russia each said the other side was responsible for the convoy's security between the border and rebel bastion Lugansk, 63 kilometres away, and Russia's foreign ministry warned 'against any attempts to disrupt a totally humanitarian mission.'The UN Security Council met for urgent consultations, at Lithuania's request, but Russia insisted the aid was desperately needed and accused Ukraine of using stalling tactics.Russian Ambassador to the UN Vitaly Churkin provided a list of the aid, including electric generators, sugar, tea and baby food, and scoffed at suggestions that these could have military purposes. - See more at: http://www.skynews.com.au/news/top-stories/2014/08/23/kiev--west-slam-russia-s-convoy--invasion-.html#sthash.4Q06SHIH.dpuf

Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov lays it on the line while the disinformation from Obama and his cronies has waned.

Quote:
Do you think all of the evidence related to the crash will be made available so that investigators can establish exactly what happened?

We formally put forward a number of questions on our part that remain unanswered. For example, where are the transcripts of exchange between the pilots of MH17 and the Ukrainian air controllers and why were they not presented to the international community? Why did the controllers instruct the flight to enter the conflict zone? What was a Ukrainian air force plane doing in the near-vicinity of the Malaysian Boeing right before the incident?

We hope to get answers to these and other questions both from the states that took the leading role in the international investigation and from those who made unsubstantiated public statements. The truth must be revealed.

HILARIOUS... the media tells lies

Russia tells only the truth...

yeah right.

Unfortunately, the mass media continue to spread rumours, distorted information and even outright lies. Recently there were claims by Ukraine that its artillery destroyed an armoured column that had allegedly crossed from Russia into Ukraine, and the British media even said they witnessed the incursion. No evidence, however, was presented, and even the US State Department could not confirm the incident. We view all such stories as part of an information war

bad media... Shocked Shocked

Russia have an interest because they have been falsely accused by USA of causing this incident by supplying rebels with SAMs. There is absolutely no evidence for USA claims.

Yeah, what's going on with this investigation?
Shouldn't they have some answers by now?

And what of the missing Malaysian Airlines jet? There's something very strange going on.
