It is now highly likely that the Liberals will be a one term Government.

It defies logic how Abbott and Hockey have gone after huge slices of the population with a meat cleaver.

They have done a full frontal attack on the poor and the weak.

Then they have attacked the students of this Country with alarming Education funding changes.

They rode in on a wave of goodwill, that the great majority of Australians provided to them.

But if history is the teacher then the Abbott Government cannot stand against the inevitable backlash that will occur at the next Federal Election.

Problem is, when one thinks of the alternative a Labor Party lead by Bill Shorten it almost makes you catatonic, to think what they would do to the Country.

Look what micro managing Rudd and Gillard did, a financial black hole that goes on forever.

God Save Australia!

Say goodbye to the tired old folk from the tired old parties.

Ring the new fresh faces that have no baggage nor debts.

You mean like Ricky Muir?

Forget about it.

Yes........the key is indeed to ensure that voters remember the CONSTANT lies and Tony's Labor's ideological warfare against the tax-payer.

What exactly were Labor's CONSTANT lies?

I'm curious.

Labor did not wage any war against me.  Nor were they as consistent and bigger liars as the Mad Monk and his crew have proved to be.

I'm not interested in the ALP winning.  The Greens, on the otherhand look more and more sensible every day!   Grin Grin Grin Grin

what a load of rubbish ... Matty is a trendy student, he's as blind as you ...heaps of students vote lib. It just doesn't help your cause to admit it.

Depends upon your definition of 'trendy' Smithy.  In my experience the trendies were justabout all lefties.  Of course ultra libertarians could also be trendies but they are a minority.

Anyway, regardless of whom they vote for it doesn't alter the fact that it will be today's students that will bear the brunt of the tax burden brought on by the aging population.  A circumstance that you and most of your ideological comrades are completely ignoring and refuse to acknowledge.

When the money is coming out of your own pocket, your own hard earned and not someone else's your attitude regarding Govt handouts and personal taxation tend to change.

The LDP Senator David Leyonhjelm was a 'Young Laborite' as a student and worked on Whitlam's campaign according to WIKI.  Now he's a right wing libertarian?

regardless of who they vote for? then why make the comment?

so now we are moving onto who pays for it? we all know it won't be you Swag ... you'll use all the loop holes you can find

Shorten is an imbecile. Who can forget that interview where he agreed blindly with Gillard. He'll never be PM and if there was one reason I pick for that, it's THAT interview. His political ambitions for the top job were nuked in those few short, disastrous minutes.

who can forget the interview where Abbott stood there like a stunned mullet moving his head back and forth like the old dashboard ornaments ...

Ohh, thats right,, armpit can forget it ... for armpit looking like a stunned mullet is normal

When things are going well and the electorate are happy, they soon forget the necessary hardships endured to achieve a pleasant existence.

yes but things aren't about to go well, things will get worse before they get better  ...

Also Abbott keeps harping on about a budget emergency while spending like a drunken sailor ... you think labors just going to let that slide?

I thought things were going pretty well when JuLiar was in. But no, the grown-ups needed putting in charge.

And so it is.

She lacked pizazz. Now Tony, there is a man with flare, with passion, not a lot of sense or compassion, but he certainly knows how to entertain. Clive is more well-rounded if you what i mean.

The most entertaining part one suspects though will be watching Abbot implode as he fails.
